This live is even better than the studio version. So sad that I didn't get the chance to see them while Roy was still there. Fucking legend this man is.
After a painful period of mourning I learned to like Tommy Karevik and now I think he's pretty awesome. But when I come back to watch this I think: Ok, another league, another sport, another fucking universe. God bless you Roy wherever you are.

Really!!!!! They are both the best singers in all of metal. I've listened to a ton of subgenres, I'm not limited to just symphonic / power metal. They are the only ones who make me terribly excited. I thank God for those beautiful voices that they have, they are a divine gift! haha 😆. Now that Roy is back, it would be nice if they both sing a song together. I couldn't die in peace if I don't listen to them together before 😣 Pd: sorry for my english
Way better, IMO. Tarja is very talented but overrated, IMO. At her core, she's "just another operatic singer" with a gargantuan ego (or at least, that was the case when they booted her from Nightwish). Roy, on the other hand, is like a living vessel for the music and it's kinda ridiculous, in a good way.
When you listen to a song and at the same time you get goosebumps and you cry like a child, it's because it's the greatest thing you've heard in a long time.
This performance is a pleasure the watch, the band and especially the vocals sound better than on the recording, Roy gives his all and you can hear the power, elisabeth, karma, center of the u..., when the lig..., the haunting, Roy interpretations are so top, Roy throws himself into the game att full strength, the voice and the whole man is fine and you can see it, Roy is my top5 favorite singers, i won't list the order because everyone has their own strengths.👍👍👍👍

In the movie Titan, the epic poem of Zeus' son Perseus' journey to defeat evil on a Pegasus horse to save the human world comes to mind. Kamelot's music is a wonderful band that reminds us of the vast ancient world. I want you to come to Korea for the concert.
My all-time favorite Kamelot song and live performance. It's my phone ringtone. Roy was so effing on during this show. Gives me goosebumps! I wish I'd have gotten to see them on this tour. We had tix for the Denver show during the Poetry tour, but cancelled after we'd heard that Roy quit the band. I love Thomas' writing and playing, and I don't dislike Tommy as a vocalist at all, but for us there was no Kamelot without Roy. I think that just like Queensryche peaked at Operation: Mindcrime, Kamelot peaked with The Black Halo. Not a negative comment... it's just how things go with great bands. The trajectory can only climb so high. Would've been nice to hear what Roy might've done with them had they stayed together. House On a Hill stood out for me on his last Kamelot album. Anyways... this live DVD rules over most other live DVDs. This one and Nightwish's "End of an Era" really stand out for me.
