You're such a workaholic Andrew. You are a non stop man. You're a mechanic, welder, electrician, excavator, and you can operate just about anything. I love that you're taking the trouble to film all these videos. You give us a learning experience as well out here. Thank you.
@@JohnJohnson-vu7xj Well, he's a contractor and his contracts aren't cheap I'd imagine. Yes, youtube makes him money but I've watched a lot of his videos and he is an excellent engineer and he fixes his own equipment. He built his house mainly out of steel. He's he' had a load of contracts. He hunts them down, leaves notes and does them a great job. He utilizes all of his time with efficiency. Even the skadoos he bought the had to pour money and labor into just to have some fun. I kind of miss his other dog but the new one is fitting in okay. He's good at cinematography, heavy equipment operator, loading and unloading dirt, gravel, trash. He repairs and operates snow blowers. He calculates everything he does. Nothing is to complicated to him. I enjoy his sky cam shots, they give us a beautiful view of the area.
That's awesome that your father was helping you with the firewood. My Dad is 88 and still helps my Mom around the house and takes care the outdoors with our help. God bless them!!!
After years of watching and loving all of it, I gathered that Andrew lost his mom last year to cancer. No change in his posts but much support for his Dad. I wanted to say how sorry I am for this young mans loss and how proud of him I am as a dad of four little girls. I have yet to experience the loss of a parent, but hope I can do it with as much class and strength as you.
My wife had a great suggestion! She said you could make one of those holiday fireplace videos but instead of a fireplace there would be some machinery adding logs onto a big bonfire. I’d watch it all day! Merry Christmas, keep up the good work 👍🏼
55 years ago as a young girl I chopped lots of firewood. I didn't start as a teenager .10 to 12 I began. I could beat up most of the boys in school. Miss those days. Not the wood chopping. Enjoy your vids. lots of variety.
Andrew is like a surgeon working those tractors. I half expected him to operate the splitter lever with the mini backhoe when wrestling the bigger chunks into the splitter.
What I admire about this channel is that it takes what for many are common, everyday tasks, and shows how HE does it...might not be the best way, (but never the worst way), but it works for him. And there is something so gratifying to see what amounts to a messy pile of "stuff" and see it get cleaned up. Thanks Andrew for the never ending entertainment.
CAMARATA = doing in a day what i never do! What I like most about this guy is there's no BS. I have never heard him ask for support like so many other V-loggers. He gets jobs, does the work whatever it is and he can fix nearly everything that breaks!
One man crew with all the equipment you can think off, does not get any better than that, the best part is that you own each and everyone of those!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good tidy up there andrew . I have always been a great believer in mechanical assistance whenever and wherever necessary , makes everything easier. And faster . Keep up the good work .
I have to say that I enjoy watching the contracts that you undertake and your equipment repairs and servicing equally . Your videos give so many people a huge amount of pleasure . 🇬🇧
I cant figure out why I even watch your vids. I have been in construction, construction management, and now a GC for about 23 or so years. So why on earth am I even interested in coming home and watching this stuff.....lol But I do, and I love it. 😁
Same. I haven't worked construction for nearly as long as you have and it's been many years since I had but there's just something about his vids that makes be binge watch far too late.
Watched quite a few of your videos recently and enjoyed to be taken along to watch the work sites progressing. I like that you don't waffle to camera and you just show the work. Great that its a real channel with no product review crap. Francis Worcestershire UK.
Always my favorite time of year. The best part about having equipment is cleaning up the mess you make and wiping the slate clean.. the second best part is making the mess.
You remind me a lot of my brother. He works all the time and so do you. He has his own business. He welds and does repair work on log trucks, bull dozers etc. all heavy equipment. Changes tires on log trucks out in the field in parking lots you name it. You both are hard workers.
Andrew. Thank you. For the heads up about measure board foot. On your oak logs. It's something I never knew. You show us how the measure log's once before. Thanks for going over it again. JUST A FYI. For your own firewood. So you don't have to handle it a half dozen times. Back in the day I burn 5-7 cord of firewood a year. So in my travels I came across steel 4x4 pallet with 2ft-3 sides. Loaded all my firewood in the steel pallets. Cover them with cut down bed liners which were black in late spring till winter. Covers would help dry out the firewood then I could move them up to the house with my bobcat. On the pallet. Great way to move firewood. It's a lazy old smarter way to make things happen!!!!!! been carry fire wood seen I was 6-7 years old. Am 63 now. Happy holidays JUNKMANDO
I would have never thought that moving logs and splitting wood would be interesting to watch, but as all your other videos, everything seems very interesting the way you show and talk about stuff.....Good job Andrew.
Andrew is a very hardworking young man .......practically everything is done by he himself alone.......May God Blessed him with Good Health and Strength..............!
Love the idea of accessing both sides of the firewood pile to get at the older stuff first. Dropping a couple of skid logs first will also help keep the pile a little dryer. Keep up the great work!
Ever thought about something like diggerland? A place for big boys to learn and play with heavy machinery? You got the experience, the space and the tools, and it would be fun for us to watch :)
Splitting wood was my childhood. Put up 7-10 cords a year from 8+ Grew up in Alaska. My job was to put up wood in the summer, and shovel snow in the winter. No chainsaws at first, just bow saw, maul and splitting wedge. Drag deadfall out of the woods, downhill at least. Later Chainsaw and axe to split.
I have cut and split hundreds of cords of wood. Back in the old days was with axe, maul, and wedges. Now, motorized splitters are wonderful. The splitter with the "cross" head. That really is nice. Make four cuts at once, split the left over big pieces again - great machine.
Andrew it’s impressive to watch you run that excavator and what makes it impressive is when you were loading the firewood the smaller logs, There’s no way you could see over the sideboards of the truck and you still managed just by instinct to move the logs and make them flush. it’s also nice to see you working with your dad we don’t see it very often but it’s really for filling to see that you have that type of relationship with your father some of us can only dream about that. Not too shabby for a days work you made some money, he spent quality time with your dad and Levi and now you can stay warm with some fresh cut seasoned firewood.
It's strange, there are people working in offices everyday just trying to hit some crazy target for a greedy boss or the never ending pressure to grow profits. I can see you're hard working, and dedicated. And I'm sure the grass isn't greener on the other side, but you can stand up everyday and look yourself in the mirror and say you've done a mans job. Finding true worth on your terms must be rewarding. Thanks for sharing these moments in your life.

Hey Andrew, thank you for another year of entertaining videos. I work out of my home office, so you have provided many hours of informative videos that are fun to watch. I used to operate heavy equipment at a coal terminal, so your vids bring back fond memories. I hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy Prosperous New Year.
Hey Andrew! A little tip. Sometimes it's easier to raise the dump bed all the way when reinstalling the gate. Put your pins in first. That way you don't have to climb all the way in to the bed. You will have to stand on a bucket or something. When you get old like me, you try to stay as close to ground as you can.
What stands out to me is that Andrew lives out the ideal of being a good steward. For that reason he will continue to reap the rewards of his labor for many years. Continued success to you Andrew!
Hey Andrew I've been operating for over 40 years in mining, Logging and civil construction, I've really been enjoying your videos, you should really consider buying (or building) a hydraulic thumb once you use one you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. Keep up the good work buddy.
