P3 : a random lil kid on the neighborhood who doesn't understand what the hell is she/he forced into :D P4 : another random newbie but this one is willing to learn from P2 :D but still a good run through ^_^

Early 90's was the best. Kids now will never understand a bond like that. Where we could play video games and still play outside all day.

I totally agree! The retro music is a nice add-on, but from an estestic point of view, the music is totally misplaced. Why have the final boss music played on Stage 1 boss? Why not use the elevator music from SoR1 on the elevator section in Y's tower? Why not use the bar music from Sor2 in the bar on stage 5? And so on. Thanks for the video BTW.
That new special attack mechanics is amazing, instead of instantly losing health you can regain it by doing damage. Also, it would be nice to see Antonio from SoR1 again, he's the first boss we ever fight and he never appears again in any other canon games.
I remember this game being so much easier as a kid. I recently tried playing SOR4 and got whipped lol... Nonetheless, it brings back a lot of good memories and much simpler times. Enjoy this timeless classic gamers 👍

What platform is this on? Xbox, ps, switch? I just want to know because on my Xbox version I noticed the retro music in levels 6 and 7 sound like 8 bit rather than 16 bit. I want to make sure it’s not only on Xbox that this is happening on. I tweeted them about this but I think more folks should tweet them to fix it too. Hopefully they will make an update patch soon. 🤞🏻
They're there, but you have to find them. They're in off the map areas. For example, I think there's one in the police station after you leave the holding cells. It's one of the bosses from the original SOR 2
Depends on the difficulty you pick. From my experience, easy gives you 6 lives, while the other difficulties are set at 1 or 2. I've only played it in single player, so I don't know if multiplayer is any different. Edit: Slight correction. I know at least for easy you get 6 lives. While hard-mania gives only 1, not to sure about normal.
You had trouble at the end lol. Enemies are twice as strong when you're in a foursome. It seems to me that 2x2 combos existed? Too bad you can't evolve to 4 online. That said, I already have trouble finding a partner, so 3 lol.
Sadly, SoR 3 Shiva is the only version you can unlock (at the time of writing). He pops when you earn 1,150,000 unlock points. I really need a SoR 4 version of him, Max and Roo.
The retro audio is a mess! -Wrong songs in the stages / bosses -Horrible melodies from Master System instead to use SOR 1 soundtrack from Megadrive -Totally missing the SOR 3 soundtrack. What a pity!
For 4 players, the game looks more realistic. If you go to streets alone and fight with so many people, your ass will be torn into a fascist swastica and glue will not help here.

I loved this game. The only downside in it, IMHO, is the retro soundtrack - not the songs themselves, but how misplaced some are.

Yeah, I dig being able to recoup life after special attacks. Makes me want to use them more. Being able to juggle people off walls is lots of fun too.

Looks like they added allot more enemies. For a long time, video games could only get so many playable sprites on screen at one time.
Axel needs a buff. His Grand Upper used to be a perfect move, and now I lost count of how many times it was countered by normal enemies attacks.
I just want him to have better movement, maybe a forward dash like Adam. A side roll would be nice too.
