I could never get past round 6 too difficult for me but the game was fun and i love it even tho the graphics and the logic of calling reinforcements in a ship and factory is possible but still love the game so much, it was a great time playing these games in my sega. . .

In Co-op if one or both answer yes then you have to fight it out with each other. If the Yesman beats both you and Mr X, you get the bad ending. In singleplayer you instead get ejected through a trapdoor back to Stage 6.

Stage 5 - Beatnik on the ship. My cousin and I use to hate that level but we also loved it.
Still one of the best games ever invented to this day. Also an absolutely awesome soundtrack!!
It wasn't really "invented". It basically took 90% of its design from Final Fight.
