Thanks for the explanation. This is the first time I saw the sail kit being sailed on the sportspal. My dad told me when I was a kid that hole is for the sail mast. I was huh?
it's brilliant bc u can furl the mainsail up and hitch it to the boom itself, so you have negligible drag with a 2" vertical pole. You can rig it to unfurl too

what is the mast made out of galvanized steel ?
The mast, spar, and boom are all made of aluminum
What are the poles made of. Galvanized steel ?
