Thanks for the review, Humita! You hit on the main points I was focusing on during the game, especially the early seam-hit by GetGood signaling to me that I could be very aggressive on the right side of the map. I learned about the vulnerability of the comm towers thanks to a very convincing loss mxdcyw2000 handed me on this map a couple of months ago and wanted to focus on those areas early, especially with the kindle firepower bonus on properties.
I was most-shocked on day 10 when GetGood went for the property cap instead of hitting my exposed infantry. That was when I knew I just had to turtle up around my HQ, not get too hard-hit by the missiles, and get an income lead from properties on the right.
The first urban blight's goal was to clear the capping infantry and get another infantry kill on infantry from that city while letting the arty still hit that tank, and to kill that recon. I thought that capturing infantry had more chip damage but should have checked the replay. (It only took 10 or 11% before, so that was a very healthy 6 after my power. The 1-comm kindle power inf from a road does 54-61 so it was POSSIBLE, but I thought it was more likely.) That recon kill the same turn though was guaranteed, because Kindle on cities during a power are silly. (It took 6-9 chip from the initial shot on that inf, then 7-11 from that inf attacking, and finally 87-94 from the aa on a city during power.)
The stealth had 3 purposes. One was like you said: I saw that it would be very difficult for GetGood to save up for a fighter. The other two points were that I was hoping it would be a draw for a missile, but I had just barely too much value grouped up on the left. And most importantly, as a tribute to JTQWN, the stealth truther.
Last point: those two early artillery end up surviving the whole game. ;)
Wow, from the beginning to 16:21, achesst was calling GetGood's bluff!
Love this matchup a lot, it's up there with Eagle vs Max
nice to see a high level game in this matchup, my first game on this map had the same and it became an indirect stall into a draw. it seems like a solid map but man those choke points are brutal.
Ya era gg en minuto 34 o incluso antes. Buen video 👍
This matchup is not one I would expect to see on three base. Both Kindle and Rachel are dominant on Base-light and fall off a bit when more bases are added, especially Rachel.
This is kinda unrelated but I've always been annoyed at how on Base-light maps in Live League, Rachel is banned but not kindle despite them being equally overpowered. It basically turns T3 Base-light into "pick Kindle or lose" when it could be so much more interesting.
anyway I'm sure this match will be great because Kindle vs. Rachel is one of my favorite CO matchups.
imo kindle should be banned in global league on all maps, it's just a boring no-brainer weighting on the meta.
@@lelieutenant7386 Indeed, kindle is just annoying just as fow t2 in general. Remove t2 in fow.
I think GetGood should focus in the Achesst´s corner instead of the middle, specially around the lab XD. Also his artillery spent a lot of time sitting around the pipes doing nothing. And i think the Rachel´s normal power is more useful than the super in fog matches
i disagree, Rachel is only viable if you survive until the third wave of missiles, like Olaf, so it's so situational that the bet is too big to take.
First! Achesst? Where have I seen that name before...wasn't he in a recent Fluhfie video?
Achesst likes turtles!
Oh yeah, fluhfie crushed me in live fog, as is tradition.
is the thumbnail ai upscaled?
Achesst is a very good player. Good tactics, good positioning. He/she actually achieved their peak rating after beating me (1433.78 - NewbieAus)
In their spare time, they can be found writing intros to Go7's streams. Legend status.
