Absolute knock-down, drag-out fight. It's easy to root against Sensei in matches like these, because his COP and SCOP feel like borderline cheating. But also, Poland is just so fun to watch! I feel like he only started pulling back and building up because someone yelled at him in Discord "YOUR SCOP IS GETTING TOO EXPENSIVE! YOU NEED TO CLOSE OUT THE GAME!" Of course that's easier said than done, because Sensei simply refuses to die. Absolute b-b-b-banger match, thanks for commentating.
Man I did not expect this drag on for that long, Eagle really is living his dream with that army of Bombers, not to mention that his d2d allowed them to stay for longer than usual. I feel like if Mordio spammed his COP more instead of using his SCOP things would have been different, because the only thing better than great value mechs is a giant wall of infinitely regenerating infantry.
When Mordio was making his first big push after the first Lightning Strike and it looked like he had Po1and on the ropes, it was about 28 minutes in. I saw there was still around an hour left in the vid and knew it was just going to get more wild from there. What. A. Game.
Mordio didn't understand the threat of air power until Day 26 when he made 3 AAs and a fighter. General, how much anti-air does it take to calm the fear? Answer: A LOT

Spoilers: Watching Po1and sometimes drives me crazy with his need to interrupt 😂 He's so good in other areas that it usually works out eventually, but I think he could have won way earlier if he had just pulled back from the slow mechs & built up to 30 ... 35 ... 40 units etc. Imagine a 50+ unit Lightning Strike O_O
Amazing cover of a great match!! But also, why did Mordio give Poland this many OP Lightning Strikes. It's like he does not understand how to play against it... like basic mistakes... he kept pushing on both fronts simultaneously. He also kept trying to capture AND send his units to the shredder which activated LS to stop his captures... - 18:18 decides to go for lots of captures, also Shredder. - 30:38 forgot to move an infantry before Airborne Assault - 45:50 moves his units with no respect for the LS. Eagle got it with the last hit on an Infantry ... just keep the Medium Tank away man... Saying all that, I would have lost as Sensei much earlier ^^
It can have its niche uses, but generally not great for sure. I think mordio would have had a much easier time sticking to the COP and more fighters like humita said

I agree, though with first scop mordio could have had another mech and a mech to AA hit easily. Overall quite a few mistakes and low on AA/fighters

What a long fight! Sensei v Eagle is such a fun HF matchup to watch and to play.
This was the polar opposite of how the JTQWN vs Shiryou game was played, but at the same time it was typical Po1and style.
