Boosting the refinery consumes more water per unit of petrol produced, so you should only use this for pricing surges.

You can tell if the pocket (oil or water) is connected to the pipe by looking at the "nodes" on the pipes - big dots are connected, small dots are not.

If a price for petrol/oil is terrible and going down, you can change the corp to the other resource just to get info on that resource’s going price
*also applies to other circumstances where you're not planning on selling for a while (eg. if the price at the other corp is amazing)
On the second bid you paid to locate a land with an absurd amount of water, so it didn't really matter there as you only sold oil, then only sold petrol. It's most relevant at lands like the first map, where not everything becomes petrol and you want to be sure to know the best price for both oil and petrol simultaneously.

So, if you block the water pipes while making branches, you can do it without consuming water, right? Because if a pipe is connected to water, it uses the water to create new pipes faster and cheaper, but the water itself is valuable in the price of petrol, so it may not actually be a good deal to allow the water pipe network to be constructed using the water.

if you want to transfer oil from refinery to refinery, would it be possible by setting some carts to sell oil, waiting for them to withdraw it from the refineries and then cancelling that? would they sit around with oil in their cart or would they try to dump it in a refinery again (preferably one with water)?
would be better if you could somehow transfer water itself. Like maybe the counter thats over the left and right inc and put it over the refinery. Or closed pipe makes the water pump out instead of closing flow
Since he has the superboost, wouldn't it work out better to have more oil silos, fewer refineries (1-2), and just boost it when he wants to sell?

@@CaTastrophy427 how do you know this? Nothing so far have suggested as much, and the only drawback I have seen is that it overheats even when it has water if you boost for too long.
But either way, he does not need all the silos he did as he managed to refine all the water long before game ended either way. Even if he _also_ stopped boosting, he would simply need to make sure it is always refining and constantly has water and oil (I think 2-3 refinery would likely suffice).
He might also want to get better at getting petrol out of the refinery, as it stops refining when it can't refine. But that is exactly part of what having more oil-silos helps with - use one or more to store the refund petrol.

I'd like to see Tyler play Adventures in the Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment. It has a half decent trading system. If he found a great route, I could see him becoming a galactic scale trader. The art style isn't great, but the characters are fun. Especially Hole (short for "Holy Good F✓©king Christ, He's Invisible Except For His Eyebrows", and no, I'm not making that up).

I think the horse counter allows you to be more efficient with your money because you know exactly how many horses you have which helps prevent over-spam of horses
