- Don't you love it when you find a fantastic thrift store that you never knew about? That's exactly what happened to me last Saturday!
We had gone to two different Estate sales and didn't find a thing. On our way home, we spotted this Goodwill, that we had never been to!
The store was just STUFFED with vintage and great Home decor finds!
This Goodwill is only about a half hour from my house. I have a feeling it's going to be a favorite thrift store, that I visit regularly.
I'm so excited to share all of my thrifted home decor with you here. Your comments make my day. We have a lot of fun, don't we?

The smokey glasses are a pattern called "Old Virginia". I picked the entire collection as my everyday glasses in blue back in 1981.

Love everything! I so identify with your need to keep Christmas decor simple and calming. In the past, we decorated over the top in our home. At the time, that was fun; however, at this phase in my life, that doesn’t fit me anymore. Unfortunately, I have an attic full of gorgeous Christmas items that I am having a hard time letting go of because of the sentiment they represent. My new motto is “simplify,” but these treasures collected over a lifetime are so hard to part with.
I understand that Lana. I went through all of mine and ended up with just a small box of kids yearly ornaments and ones they made. I also passed some down to grown kids that wanted them. Now if I could get the several tubs of pictures on thumb drives...! 🌸🌸🌸
With the exception of the gardening book I own all of the books you bought. I’ve owned them for years and still look at them. Love everything you bought. Great finds👍

The second black and white print/picture you held up is the Carson Mansion located in Eureka, California, where I work. "Considered the most grand Victorian home in America." I have been fortunate enough to get to go on a tour. The windows at the highest peak slide completely up into the roof and you can walk out on the small terrace. Truly stunning.

I love your finds, but I am totally in love with the tole trays. I have collected them for many, many years and have about 70 (yes, 70) in my collection. I have a wall decorated with them and the rest are in two huge baskets. I can’t resist them as long as the condition is reasonably good. I clean them gently with soap and water and when they’re dry I use a tiny bit of orange oil to bring a luster to them. The two you found are wonderful!

I have quite a few of the hard cover decorating books from the past. I love them! I also thrift fabric and sewing notions, ribbons, trims and etc. I would love to see videos when you get your booth! I've had a small one for over 30 years and love to see what other people do!

I love everything you found. My favaourites were the fabrics (yes I sew) and the tole painted trays. I actually do tole painting so I tend not to buy it but I love the ones you picked up.
Those black and white prints are sooo cool! Love the architecture of the buildings in them. Love the caroling family! Very interesting milk glass candle holders. Liked them a lot even if not so "hot" right now! Some things just shout "take me home" like the 6 piece glass set! Great steal on that black and white fabric and the shams were gorgeous!! I love it when I can find pillow shams because again, they are so dang expensive. I LOVE tole painting, too and that wooden one was beautiful!! And...I own that tole tray you found and it's one of my favorite things to display!!! How cool that you found one, too! I have had mine for many years now and still love it as much as the day I found it!! Another fun reveal!!

I just discovered you this weekend. I have to say I really like everything you have gotten so far. I think this is my 3rd video. The toile painting and tray you got are to die for. I have a small bed tray that looks like he large metal one, it has folding legs for easy storage and is in great shape. I paid a couple of dollars for it years ago. Keep up the good work😊

Great Goodwill finds
Your fabric haul was fabulous. The black and white plaid would be great as tablecloth with both your blue and white China and that cabbage ware dishes especially with your love of black and white. Also runner or napkins depending on fabric. I love all your books and I also like buying older magazines. $1 for those hardcover books just incredible. I so enjoy your videos, and often come back to them to revisit. I can spend a whole afternoon afternoon rereading my garden and decorating books. Gives me so much pleasure.🍁 p.s. the role painted tray and picture go well together and would be great in your dining room.

The Smokey glass I had from Walmart year 2004. In the 90s I thrifted set of trays like the big flowery one towards the end. Fun haul .

I love books too.....a great resource is your local library. Many times they have book sales of donated books from the community, and sell the books as a fundraiser. They have a LOT of books, in great condition, at reasonable prices, while helping our your local library.
Just got back from a bday wknd and Yay! another awesome thrift haul. 😁 I'm amazed at the great stuff you find (it's cuz you've got excellent taste) ~ your new GW is an awesome honey hole!! I have one tiny GW in my small town and it's a good one too. Loved going thru the bags along with you, fun! AND I love the crinkle of the bags n paper. 😁 Call me crazy. Lol I absolutely love it all but there are some pcs that made my heart ache!! Ugh...that big wire basket...oh girl. Not a scrolly girl either but this is perfect. That rattan tray I love. The crates and Those pillow covers are gorgeous! Those tole painted pcs. The perfect touch of black. Loved all of the glass, baskets, that red metal pc, and the prices!! Amazing. Enjoyed the patterns, great idea for the tissue, I'm using that one! 😊 The fabric and trims, what a great deal. I sew n quilt n I know how $$$ these are. Love the Boho yellow pc. I envisioned a backing on a big boho quilt! I also loved the books and I too am so hooked on magazines. You've got my juices flowing and I love it!! 😁 Thanks ❤

I’m so glad you mentioned using fabric for a tablecloth because just today I was going through a closet and looked at leftover fabric that I had used for curtains and it just didn’t occur to me to make it a tablecloth.

I want to let mine go natural but it seems like I only get grey in the crown and with my dark brown hair it just looks like tinsel in my hair.
. The way my hair looked at first, isn’t how it eventually looked. I just went cold turkey off the color and would cringe whenever I looked in the mirror (or my older videos!) But the freedom from coloring and my healthier hair has been so worth it!

The wire basket is gorgeous! You could put some burlap in it with those wooden balls in it along with some other boho looking pieces! Just a suggestion on both of those projects! I have SO much thrift stuff that I haven’t done anything with. I watch these to give me ideas!

You really saved the best 2 pieces till last......they are gorgeous with the flowers on the black which really stands out. On the other items......I’m a Quilter and never have enough material!!!!! I have lots of great pieces from my grandmother who was a seamstress and her cousin was a milliner. I bought a large ream of Vintage needlework material from Auction and it is cream with green and black vines and birds and going to use it on dining chairs and scatter cushions.
