Lang Lang's legendary concert at the Royal Albert Hall from November 2013 is out now on digital audio and visual album formats. The programme features three Mozart Sonatas and the four Chopin Ballades followed by eight encores including Mozart’s popular 'Rondo Alla Turca', Chopin’s ‘Minute Waltz’ and Nocturne Op. 55 No. 2 and Ponce’s Intermezzo No. 1.

Say whatever you might wanna say, Lang Lang is one of the best contemporary pianists. Of course, he has a great personality and almost theatrical performances. His playing is PERFECT

If you don't look at his face, the piece is really well performed. We feel emotions and his playing is amazing. For me, Lang Lang has become very mature these last years.
that's weird, because his face reflects every musical inflection he does, so whats wrong with that
Valery sometimes his faces carry audiences out of music. However these years he controlled his expressions which makes the video more enjoyable.

I just finished to study this piece and made a video of it, I'm still memorizing it and just tought: which great pianists had recently made their own on this piano piece?, and found him, it's beautiful just hear those notes revealing the hidden theme inside, I never heard any other pianist achieving such clarity on this, just wonderfull!

Amazing playing, Lang can play all the difficult fast stuff, but he really enjoys these slow melodies and juicy chord changes, playing it just right and not like a robot. Critics don't like people who stray from the norm, too slow, too fast, too much rubato, etc. Keep going Lang, the Bach is excellent also.

I remember listening to this song in a spanish soap opera called - Alguna vez tendremos alas (One day we shall have wings). I was probably in middle school and now im 35 and still come back to this song. Lang Lang truly did a beautiful redemption of this song. The drama was about a young teenager whose mother was abused by her step father and after a crime her and her brothers went to an orphanage. She went through so much trama and more but this was such a beautiful piece

Me gusta como Lang Lang interpreta al compositor mexicano y transmite ese sentimiento de nostalgia del siglo XIX, siglo en que nació nuestro compositor. I really enjoy Lang Lang's performance which brings about that nostalgic feeling of the XIX century by the time this Mexican composer was born.

I've played for 42 years now. A few years ago I realised that how your performance feels to you when you play isn't how it feels to the listener when they hear you indulging yourself! Playing to make others feel something is a gift. It would be wonderful if Lang Lang felt what we feel, but you know, does it matter? You still feel it right? And if you don't, what's wrong with you? :)

Lang Lang's a little arrangement added to performance made the nuance and atmosphere of the performance rich and beautiful. Perhaps because it was an encore performance that was less burdensome, the beauty arising from his freedom (the beauty of freedom / or beauty of relaxation) stood out to a higher level, so from the listener's point of view, I was able to appreciate Lang Lang's beautiful and rich performance, which was immersed in the performance without being rigid and revitalizing the music image.
Therefore, the audience would have been able to freely communicate with the pianist Lang Lang's profound dialogue footprints through which he interpreted his rich works.

랑랑이 연주할 때 가미한 그의 작은 편곡이 연주의 뉘앙스와 분위기를 풍미있고 아름답게 하였다. 그리고 부담이 덜한 앙코르 연주여서 그러한지 그의 여유에서 비롯된 아름다움이(여유의 아름다움) 한 수준 높게 더욱 돋보여서 청자 입장에서는 경직되지 않고 연주에 몰입하여 여유롭게 악상에 생기를 불어넣은 랑랑의 아름답고 풍부한 연주를 감상할 수 있었다.
따라서 청중 역시 피아니스트 랑랑이 그가 풍부한 작품 해석을 해나가는 심오한 대화의 발자국에 거리낌 없이 교감할 수 있었을 것이다.
나는 한국에서 학부 때 작곡을 전공했고, 현재 대학원에서 음악학을 전공하는 강경훈이라고 한다. 좋은 연주를 들려줘서 고맙다.
