MAKE A PIPE - How To Make a Smoking Pipes From Wood - DIY PIPE

- In this video I am making a pipe again after a while. This time i tried to create a simple design. I used fresh walnut tree branches for the stems as well as long-aged walnut wood. As a preservative, I used a mixture of beeswax and walnut oil. Three beautiful pipes emerged. Even though I don't smoke, I thought it would be a shame if I didn't use the pipes I made at least a little bit. Even though I searched hard, I could not find suitable tobacco for these pipes. So I had to try it with the only tobacco I could find.
I hope you enjoy watching.

There not pipes they are works of art. They reminded me of my grandfather thank you for the memories.
Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you liked it and that it reminded you of something.
Hiw did you make the hole in the stem when its bent?
@@BROTHER_WOOD08
Well done 👍🏻
Best of the best
Thank you very much
What wood allows you to so easily push the center out of the stem like that ? Beautiful work
I fresh walnut tree branch products. There is a very large formation inside. In addition, there is a similar structure in the fig tree. Other trees also have the same feature. If you have this type of tree around you, I definitely recommend you to try it.

Uhhhh❤❤❤😊
Thank you very much for the comment!
How do you get the hole all the way through the stem on curves?
Drilling the holes in the stems is actually the easiest part of the job. The walnut tree finds its own space inside its branch. and I easily open this hole with the help of a wooden skewer. I don't do any drilling. Nature takes care of this for me. You can see this at 9:20.
Are these made of English walnut or black walnut??
Thanks for watching. I don't know if it's English nut or not. I think its species is exactly this (Juglans regia)
Can you explain your step starting at 15:08? That looks like a slender dowel rod you are inserting, but how did you get it to go so smoothly through the stem? I must say, this is one of the most amazing videos on pipe making I have seen and I very much want to try this!
thanks for watching. What I do there is to clear the space inside the branches I used. There is a natural gap inside the walnut tree branches. Of course, a little cleaning is required to ensure air passage through this gap. With this method, I avoid having to perform another drilling process. A fresh walnut tree branch works really well to make a stem for pipes. Then I put these three pieces together using beeswax.
@@BROTHER_WOOD08 Thank you so much! Again, excellent work!
Hola..
Me gustaría saber qué producto le untas ?
Hola. Gracias por ver. No entendí completamente tu pregunta.
Great work indeed. Art and patience are priceless . Is it all walnut?
Thank you for commenting. Yes, this time I used only walnut wood.
@@BROTHER_WOOD08 Does the walnut stem give any sort of bitterness to the smoke? Have you noticed that? Thank you again
@@elmigwar If the branch is not completely dried, yes, you will experience some bitterness and walnut tree taste. When the branch is completely dried, there is no different taste after the first few uses.
@@BROTHER_WOOD08 Many thanks for sharing your experience 🙏🏼🙏🏼
These Pipes are awesome 🤩 what kind of wood did you use?
Thanks for watching. I used only walnut wood in these pipes.
What kind of wood did you use for the mouth piece? How did you just push out the middle like that
Thanks for watching. I used walnut wood for both the handles and the heads. I used fresh walnut wood for the handles. They take shape easily when fresh. Then all I have to do is clean the natural space inside. For the heads, I used dried walnut wood for many years. Thus, a beautiful brown tone emerged...
@@BROTHER_WOOD08 right on man! I just picked up the hobby, bought a nice piece of briar for when I start making pipes one day, just been practicing a bit on cheaper pieces, I have a few slabs of walnut im gonna test out first. Great wood.
There's not much wood where I'm from for pipe making unfortunately, I'm in Manitoba. I'm jealous you just get to go out into your backyard and pick a perfect branch like that haha!
I'm thinking my best option for mouth pieces for me might be to just buy them unfortunately, if I want those curvy pieces at least
What did you use to finish the pipe?
If you are asking about the wax I use as a protector,
It consists of a mixture of beeswax and walnut oil. You put the two together and heat them, and a nice protective substance emerges.
L'importante è preservare lo spazio all'interno.
create LOTR pipe pls
Thanks for watching. I've actually been thinking about making LOTR pipes for a long time. I have a few different pipe ideas in mind. I'm thinking of starting these pipes soon.
How much does it cost ?
To be honest, I can't put a price on it. I have never sold or bought any pipes before. When I look at the materials I used in this project, all these pipes are not even worth ten dollars. However, considering the time I spend on them, these pipes seem priceless to me. So I can't tell you an accurate price. Thank you for your comments.
Where are you from? , i'm from slovenia like luka dončič.

how much is the pipe sir?
thanks for watching. Unfortunately, I cannot give a price for these pipes. because I've never made a pipe to sell before. The materials I use don't even cost a few dollars. However, when I think about the effort I put into them, they become a very valuable product. Unfortunately I can't say anything at the moment. But maybe I can make pipes to sell in the future.

I am entirely pig-ignorant so no offense intended, but would you describe your pipes as increadibly freakin' huge? They seem freakin' huge to me. You could fit a golf ball in that bowl and then suck it through that stem!
Thanks for watching. It's true that the pipes are a little big. One in particular turned out to be quite a huge pipe. If they are smaller, they will be better for use. However, I am doing slightly larger studies so that I can apply different patterns and minimize errors. This makes it easier when shooting videos. If I were producing something to sell, I would have to make more elegant and smaller works.
@@BROTHER_WOOD08 Oh I see. Well they do look very nice, that's for sure.
