Let’s just say this movie is the tamest of the franchise, if you can’t make it through THIS….you won’t survive the rest

I understand the criticism the Saw franchise receives, but it's one of the best horror franchises ever. It's extremely Soap Opera-y later in the series, which is perfectly fine with me. Truly one of my favorites.
It’s not soap opera at all, it’s called character intrigue, the issues are the continuity of which if thought on for too long for a new fan, has tons of flaws
@@ninjanibba4259 facts *claps*
Yes
10000% agree and i like that they don’t use unnecessary sex scenes to keep the viewer engaged as in the wrong turn movies for example
i love it, had a saw marathon last october then ranked the movies now considering doing it again lol
As gory and ridiculous the films got later on, I give a lot of respect to a series that never rebooted itself and continually committed itself to sticking to one insane and convoluted continuity. Saw X was really good, though! One of the best in the franchise in a long time!
I wanna see Saw X
I will say the worst of the entire franchise (Saw 7 AKA Saw 3D) was still okay.
😢😢😢
Wasn't Spiral a soft reboot?
@@marcusblackwell2372 Not so much a soft reboot. It takes place in the same world and references the other movies but does not feature any of the same characters.
I can’t believe no one pointed out the doll’s name is Billy 😬

Underrated spooky movie I can't find many reactions to: Slither
Your biggest fear is public bathroom floors 😅😅
Ohh you know me to well 😂
I always have to see how reactors react to the part where John rises up on the floor. Kudos to you for figuring out that Zep was not Jigsaw when you did, I didn't realize that until Adam pulled out the tape.
I hope Billy goes through the whole series. Mainly because I don’t feel like sitting through all of the movies, but I do want to know what happens. His commentary just makes it fun
This is exactly why I watch movie reacts RUclipsrs
My favourite part of this movie is that Leigh Whanell, the guy who played Adam, wrote it
I thought he did a pretty good job too considering he never acted in a movie before except doing the short for this movie to get it up off the ground to make it a full length feature & he did pretty good with his American accent, I hear Cary Elwes’ accent more.
I should not have laughed this hard at a Saw reaction 🤣🤣
I love this franchise and fun fact billy the actor that played adam actually wrote the first 3 saws and was an executive producer on the entire series, so it was him that created the series and brought it to the studio and got them to hire his friend james wan in his directorial debut, and with this movie james wan became a household name
“When I was a little children” Billy Bingers
Lmao😂😂
Honestly I think the Saw franchise is pretty solid! It knows what it is and stays with it. It does get a bit more dramatic in later movies but even those are enjoyable. If you like mind games, twists, and gore you’ll like the movies.
I grew up on these movies because my dad was a huge horror and thriller movie guy, I swear every weekend he had some sort of scary movie on and I being his little girl wanted to be with him at all times so I would sit with him on the couch watching these movies I definitely shouldn’t have been watching at like 10 years old. He’d hold me the entire time because I was scared but didn’t want to go play in my room. He passed away a few months ago and I’ve made it a little tradition to watch a favorite movie of his every weekend, sadly this time I don’t have anyone to hold me because as often as I watched these I’m still the biggest baby and have to watch a Disney movie afterwards or else I freak myself out 😂
My sincerest condolences for the loss of your dad 😢
My condolences ,
I was 11 when i watched Saw 1-6 for the first time but my parents didn't know at first then my mom found out and started watching them with me 😂
When the writers James Wan & Leigh Whanell (Adam) wrote the movie & started production they were working with a very very tight budget, that’s why there is so many quick cuts & other things to keep the cost down, they even took mortgages of their homes to get it financed. Luckily it really paid off! I love that how this one is shot is because of the budget but the rest of the franchise keeps to this same style & now it’s iconic for it. And a fun fact Tobin Bell (the real jigsaw) really did lay on the floor the entire time, it was never a dummy. But the reveal is so iconic, I love seeing people’s reaction to it, mostly because I had the same one & watching yours or others makes me relive it all over again! And Adam realizing that he never had a chance to escape due to the key going down the drain is so tragic & you see the fear in his eyes! Leigh Whanell never acted before this except a short film for this movie to get it up off the ground, in that one he wore the reverse bear trap. And I think he did a pretty good job, he’s Australian & I thought he did pretty good with his American accent.
Yeah, as a kid, I always had a problem with the key going down the drain. Showed me jigsaw was ultimately unfair, petty, and full of shit. All that forethought, and you didn't think the key would disappear while someone was disoriented? Huge flaw
But otherwise, movie was solid
@@Regmuslima I would say the same for the wax guy too. How on earth was he supposed to defeat that?? He is covered in wax, has to use a candle to find the combination to the safe and the floor is covered in glass and he only had like what, a minute or something. He thinks that's not murder?? The fact that he thinks his methods are right just because he's dying of cancer and he's not killing people is why he's a great psychotic villain. They do show it working with Amanda but that's like one person that defeated the game out of who knows how many people he's done this to and hers wasn't exactly as hard as the others, she had it easy compared to wax guy or barb wire guy.
True, but even then, in later movies, he realized he gave her another addiction in place of the one she already had and that she relapsed.
Also, because of this reaction, I caught him lying. He told her the dude was dead when he very much wasn't. The guy was drugged enough not to be able to move but was aware, making this situation even more heinous and the trauma of her actions that much heavier. He involved innocents in such scenarios from the child to the wife of the lying guy in later films who had no idea why they were in such a situation and at the mercy of the players. It was messed up from the start and another huge flaw in the philosophy he represented. Idk if that was the point to show he was no different from other serial killers and not to be drawn in by his grandiose perspective and traps, but given how people viewed him and the franchise its safe to say it got lost in translation. People come for the traps and the twist. So long as that's done well, jigsaws flaws be damned
@@Regmuslimayeah it did suck & then u realize amanda was the one who carelessly threw the key in the tub hence why it was easier for it to go down the drain😂
You NEED to continue. Like its given nickname, every Saw movie fits together like a puzzle piece. They all connect back to one another.. its brilliant.
John Kramer (Jigsaw) is legitimately one of my favorite characters ever created. He is such a brilliant man, I love these movies so so much. Sure; people are playing it out nowadays, but Saw franchise is still amazingly written once the pieces are put together.
Watch the other ones and remember what happens in the previous ones - information comes back.
Billy’s biggest fear is being barefoot in a public bathroom 😂💯and he ain’t wrong for that 😂
31:19 THIS WAS THE BIGGEST PLOT TWIST EVER‼️ I WAS LITERALLY LIKE THIS : 👁️👄👁️
👏🏾🤣🎥🍿💯
The way billy was begging for her to shoot😂
Man I remember my shock when I saw this in theaters once the reveal of Jigsaw came. The collective gasps and "what!?s" were fantastic. I loved the first 3 films, but got more crazy after that (for me, anyway). Either way, you should totally finish them all. I've yet to see Spiral and the new one in theaters now; I'll be seeing that one this week.
Hey Billy thank you so much for deciding to react to Saw! I’ve actually been really excited and was hoping that you would actually watch this movie. Hope you do more!
7:40 As soon as Billy said “is that Ricky Tan?” the first thing that popped in my head was “wipe yourself off, you’re bleedin” 😂😂 which is so appropriate for this franchise 😂
I want to see you comtinue to react but this one is the most tame one in terms of gore & the gruesome traps. The story is one of the best ever in a horror movie franchise
Drink water every time he says, “that’s gangsta” 😂
Fun fact: The actor that was the doctor who cut his foot off was also Wesley in The Princess Bride.
It took me a really long time time to actually watch this movie because of the reputation that the Saw franchise has for being torture/gore p*rn, but i’m so glad that i actually watched it. the reveal was SO unexpected, and the fact that Adam gets trapped and presumably dies in that bathroom actually made me cry
I couldn't wait to see your reaction when Jigsaw stood up at the end! It's such a fun series I think you'd really enjoy them, even the bad ones. Maybe especially the bad ones.
You’re not gonna believe this, but the puppet that Jigsaw uses is named Billy! Never said in the movies, but behind the scenes
19:10 - that part really does date this movie 😂 i remember back then, my first cell phone in middle school was one of those old nokia brick phones and it only held like 5-10 contacts, so i had eeeveryone’s number memorized! 😂
Yes!! This was such a pleasant surprise from you! Saw 1 & 2 are some of my favorite movies, no joke. I’m glad you seemed to enjoy it. That said, I know 9 films is super daunting so I would recommend at least react to the 1st 4 if you can and then watch Saw X once it’s out since it’s set between 1 & 2. It’s sooo good, it’s even the highest rated Saw movie. Which is shocking/ amazing for the 10th film in a series. 😅
I'd love to see you react to the full franchise. Saw X has recently come out so now there's 10 in the franchise counting Jigsaw as Saw 8 and Spiral as Saw 9. You're reaction to the ending was incredible!
Complementing Jigsaw the entire movie was 😅🤣😂 Glad you enjoyed it. Your reaction is perfect.
Oh my goodness I love this movie!! It's my favorite horror movie. Thank you for putting a smile on my face always Billy ❤❤
I just remembered something, isn't billy like the name of the puppet
@@GoodTimeForARollyou're right!!
I loved your reaction Billy! Hope to see you do the rest! I do love the saw franchise so if you liked the first you would def enjoy the rest
This is perhaps the funniest reaction to Saw that I have seen (between “he had man doing Chicken Noodle Soup” and comparisons to SpongeBob, etc.). Thanks for sharing with us!
There are 10 Saw movies. Definitely watch 2, but idk how committed you want to be to this series 😂. Its my favorite horror franchise, but its just a lot to handle. Maybe you could do 1, 2, and 10 when its available at home? 10 takes place between 1 and 2. Just a thought!
Yaaaaaaaas!!!!! Horror! Finally! I missed the premiere (was doing volunteer work). It's been a rough day, month really, and this reaction is just what I needed to lift my mood. Can't wait for more spooky season movies.
It was so funny to me when the sheet was near the daughter n Billy said "What the hell?" IT WAS SO FUNNY TO ME
I knew billy was going to enjoy this cuz people just be dying his favorite thing lmao😂😂
I’m so embarrassed the amount of times I’ve seen this and JUST LEARNED Adam is the Leigh Whannell who wrote the the film 😂😂😂
Billy's biggest fear is dirty stuff. That's why the room he films in is always so spotless clean!
Love watching ur videos dude, ur hilarious 😂
Oh please watch them all! I recently watched the series again after a while and forgot how amazing and gruesome they are. And the twists are insane. You’ll enjoy them!
"Why are you in people's business like that?" is the real question 😂😂😂😂 like mind your business, jigsaw!
“Is that Ricky Tan?” Immediately spit out my smoothie 😭😭😭
I would absolutely love to see you react to rest of these films. Because they all tie into each other so perfect, and the characters are really well played out
Saw is one of my favorite series. I’ve been excited for you to watch this one! I love Halloween season to watch all the spooky commentaries from you, Mello, all of y’all.
I feel like I had 60% of his commentary as my thoughts when I re-watched the whole movie series 😂😂😂
The Saw franchise definitely has the best plot twists out of every movie I’ve watched.
Honestly love Saw 🙈 sure it’s way over the top but it’s just the best of its kind. I loved following the story of each and was FINALLY old enough to see the 7th onwards in the cinema. Opening night is always so good with the fans
Billy wearing a jigsaw t shirt saying the free torture just so hilarious to me 😂
Bingus biggest fear is barefoot in public bathrooms. So if anyone wanna torture him make sure you remove his socks in the middle of a university campus public shower that hasn’t been cleaned since pre pandemic!
Please do the whole Saw series !!!! They are all connected! They’re so good!!!
Please do the rest of the Saw movies! Saw 2 is probably my favorite of the franchise - but I'll definitely watch them all 👍🏻
Fun fact: (im sure someone has said this already) Adam is the writer of and is Specs in Insidious
Billy you best watch all of them! I'm so curious to see your commentary on each movie. 😆
The first 5-6 Saw movies were my favorite, especially Saw 2. I really love how intertwined the plots of the movies were, having characters from each movie show up later or show that they were there from the start. That kind of story telling is brilliant IMO.
Have you seen Saw X yet ?

I just watched Saw X in theaters and it is magnificent! A heads up for any planning to see it, THERE IS A MID-CREDIT SCENE!
I love this movie so so so much. I am so happy that you made a reaction to it. 😊
no stop cuz you uploading this is perfect timing 😭 i literally just watched this today for the first time so seeing you react to this is eye opening
19:17 I have a bald headed Daddy. I'm calling my Dad 💪😅
I WISH I could watch this series for the first time again - but this is a close second!

My favorite horror series. So glad you reacted to it🤩
Theres actually 10 of them and id love if you did all of them. They all connect and fot together so well its amazing. Hands down one of the best horror franchise there is

29:30 chicken noodle soup
Chicken noodle soup Chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side.
the laugh you gave at 5:22 was the same laugh bernie mac gave in transformers
Definitely recommend to keep going!!! The saw franchise is so good, definitely loses its way in one or two movies but especially the latest one that just came out perfection
It's fascinating to hear your take after watching *SAW* for the first time! The film really stirs up a lot of discussions, especially around Jigsaw's philosophy. While some might view him as a twisted vigilante trying to make people appreciate life more, others (like you, it seems) see him as a deeply problematic figure who needs to be repudiated for his cruel methods.
Jigsaw’s traps and moral dilemmas often leave viewers questioning the ethics behind his actions. His belief that true change only comes through suffering is a perspective that can be heavily debated. It raises the question: can we truly grow and appreciate life if we are coerced into it under the threat of violence and death?
Your reaction highlights the broader implications of his character. By forcing people into life-or-death situations, he robs them of their autonomy and choice, which is fundamentally counterproductive to the growth he claims to seek. It’s also interesting to consider how this reflects on the audience itself; do we sympathize with him because of his tragic backstory, or do we recognize the harm he inflicts as unforgivable?
This film invites us to ponder the complexities of morality, punishment, and redemption. It’s powerful that you’re willing to repudiate his methods outright. After all, true change should empower individuals, not simply put them in fear for their lives. The juxtaposition of thrill and moral discomfort in *SAW* makes it a compelling but troubling watch, and your comment speaks to the heart of why it’s so impactful. It's definitely a conversation starter!
I'm so here for the commentary. Love your reactions Billy. ❤️❤️
“when i was a little children” wanna try that sentence again, buddy? 😭
"Is that Ricky Tan?!"
Close, that's Sang from the first Rush Hour.
The Saw series is one of my favorite horror franchisees and I'm so happy you started this!! I hope you do more, especially during October! ❤❤

Nahh Billy is sendinggg me in this reaction😂😂😂 say what you want you cant deny that mans funny as hell
“Not my uncle” 😭😭😭😭
Shoutout to John Kramer's VA, Tobin Bell. He fucking SLAYED his role as Jigsaw throughtout the ENTIRE Saw series.
Him having to say how gangsta some of the traps are is sooooo real!!!
Please watch the whole series! and there are 10 movies.... but since you've started the journey, you must finish It. Would love to witness that journey
This is my favorite horror fanchise. Please continue and post your reaction till at least Saw 5. You will get a lot more back story and I know it will make for great reactions!👍

I love that you loved saw. I know horror movies aren't usually your thing. Please watch at least 2 and 3 for the channel it acts like it's own little trilogy and the second one is the best one imo ❤
"All these are tied to each other in some way" My guy, you have no idea. Get a pen and paper ready.
continuew the whole thing, its amazing, my favorite thriller series and im not a horror/thriller watcher lol
Not just James Wan as director but Leigh Whannell was also the writer and he is also a director in his own right he is also the guy who plays Adam, yes he put himself in the movie and not a bad actor either
I’m ngl I was not expecting billy to ever react to this😂😂
"I'm not going to throw the tape player like you did"
COOL, SLIDE IT ACROSS THE TILES, THEN.

Please continue watching the rest of the series because it is all connected to each other.
you should keep on watching this franchise, its worth it
Too easy, Billy's biggest fear is falling down in a public restroom shower but ass naked 😂😂😂
Your biggest fear is having hair😂
Billy, please continue the Saw Franchise for the channel. I love your reactions. If you thought the first one was good, just wait. That’s not Ricky Tan, that’s Sang from Rush Hour 1. The dude with the blonde hair who was helping Jauntao. Ricky Tan is from Rush Hour 2 and he was Lee’s father’s partner on the police force. Saw franchise #Bingers.
Billy I need you to watch more of the movies!! Most movie reactors are like full horror fans and over analyze everything. You just enjoy and it's refreshing! 😂
7:40 nah that ain’t Ricky Tan, that’s the Asian bad guy from Rush Hour 1, the one who was workin with the British dude. I think his name was Sang
