,, hair spray is crap n drops in hot wet clubs, use different thicknesses of wet soap,, starting very wet n bubbly going to creamy then near dry,, blast dry each layer,, is not affected by any conditions,, stays up for as long as u want,, can smell after 3 days 😏
I think you can do it if it's not that curly, if it have waves you can, but if it's really curly so much that your hair looks longer when it's straight then I don't really know

it takes a while, but you could use conditioner spray and a boatload of inti-friz gel to keep from going bald when you get it un-mohawked
