Picked up this Z&Z Airsoft MAWL replica a few days ago. Although it's made of nylon yet it feels really sturdy. Buttons are positive. It has IR illuminator, IR laser, VIS laser and VIS illuminator. However, I don't think the adjusting dials are functional.
Also forgot to mention if you click either button twice, it will stay on constant on mode.
The aluminum one should improve their switchology too. If it's the same like the real deal and the power output is on point then it's a very good news to airsofter out there.
I was super excited to get mine, however the laser activation is a really big letdown
That’s a shame the laser do not have a on/off activation like the lamp.
But it’s a nice replica
it's pretty decent not gonna lie but they really do have to come up with a momentary laser activation mode
I like how you leave your safety in the fire position.
Because there's no battery inside

@@JLM_VA Not gonna lie, it's a damn sexy replica, especially in metal.
But for the price I'd like to be able to not annouce my presence to unassuming bystanders. The IR illuminator is so-so at best.
Here's hoping they make a true replica and crank up the optical quality. For now sticking to G&P DBAL - hands down best non-ITAR designator.
@@AndSome625028 For the money, I don't see why one wouldn't just tape over the white light. It's just a navigation light anyway. Then, there would be no reason to give away one's position.
Better wait till we get a version with a better laser activation method

@JLMKEI I just recently got into airsoft as a training tool after only ever doing live fire training, and dry fire CQB. I'm still not used to the airsoft stuff popping up on my RUclips 😂 sick setup tho, man! Looks killer
No video under night vision? They should make a version without that pesky white light.

Actually I have already tested the nv mode the other day vs a rs MAWL
if you hold on to A button for 4seconds, it will be turned off.
Is it your best combo light/laser/ir actually tu use on an AR ?
I have a DBAL-i2 pairing with a Modlite PLHv2 on one and a PEQ-15 Modlite IR940 on another

no i bought the same exact one these are junk eventually after a few hundreds rounds you wont even be able to adjust it's elevation or nothing pure garbage
