      Yes indeed. It's sad that the true potential of a small hydroelectric unit is not shown. I would assume that with a 12 or 24 volt generator, a charger for a pack of accumulators and an inverter you could build a nice little power plant and even drive an angle grinder for some time. But powering that thing directly from the water turbine without any fluctuation doesn't look realistic to me.

      Если считать, что вся потенциальная энергия падающей воды переходит в электроэнергию без потерь - можно оценить, что среднерасходная скорость воды в трубе должна быть не меньше 10 м/с что бы заставить одну 100 Ваттную лампочку накаливания светится. Болгарке для работы уже необходимо примерно 1000 Вт, для чего вода должна хреначить в трубе со скоростью 100 м/с! XXXDDD А если участь КПД этой помойки, то недолго и до скорости звука добраться!

    I really doubt about the project. Hydropower generation isn't that easy. It needs heady generators and huge water pressure. If such a tiny turbine can really produce so much electricity then imagine a how much power a cyclist can generate in Gym. Just a thought 😂😂

      @@Sebastian-xy2upthe problem isn’t producing the energy, it’s storing until needed that is the issue. the cycles could easily take load off the grid during peak hours, but under low stress they would do almost nothing to conserve or produce energy.

    • @LFTRnow
      @LFTRnow 7 месяцев назад +9

      Exactly, p = mgh/t 100 kg water for 1m height every SECOND to get 1 kW (assuming 100% efficiency, which you don't get either). I'm also wondering how 240V magically appears on a slow-turning turbine and no variability to the output. Finally, anyone building one of these as is would have to clean out the debris multiple times per day as there is nothing in the build to screen the water. Too bad it's fake, as the work looks really nice.

      @@grizz6582 so let’s see - how hard is it to get what’s likely originally a small wind generator to work with water instead of wind? Surely even a highly qualified American pilot instructor such as yourself could get that to work if your bricklaying and cementing skills were up to it! Why go to all that trouble just to end up faking it because the 13k clicks this has had isn’t earning any money.

      @@markhammerschmidt5315 well for one thing the dam was built with the water intake at the top of the dam instead of the bottom which is a waste of a dam; he could have accomplished the same result with a water wheel for a fraction of the effort. For a second thing, he never proves it’s actually generating electricity.
      I’d say those are two very fair points to make

Ты не заглубил плотину в борта водохранилища, так у тебя неминуемо начнется фильтрация сквозь берег, что приведет к катастрофическим последствиям!
