There's no way he actually thought he could negate the eclipse with the no. 38 when the summon happens on a new chain. He might actually be yuma tsukomo with the amount of ridiculous mistakes he's making

but I think this is balanced, since there are also those who can summon with 1 combo card to get a full board negate. but yeah, anyone would feel annoyed when their entire board disappeared in an instant

Ya blowing your full load hard in one go is almost always a coin flip in specially first turn, were you have to wait a turn to attack letting your opponent a chance to counter in someway and sweep most of you good cards in one go possible pre preparation to stop this eventuality usually only reduces the risk not get rid of it

I play Utopia and I am insulted he didn't use 99 effect in Draw. Plus in my Deck I run the counter trap as well as Eagle Claw. So...yeah. Pretty sure he'd need at least 3 Evenly to break my board. But then what would his plays be with 2 cards and 4 other interactions.

Why use No. 38 when Ash Blossom can negate Eclipse
He should have used Drag to summon Hope instead of Leo Utopia Ray, could have helped, but I'm not sure about the evenly matched, though.
If he would have had his auto affect set to on he could have summoned hope before he drop the book on him. That was a miss play right there

This is what happens when you forget to turn your settings to "ON" to activate Dragonar.
I pulled this same tech in my locals few weeks ago, against a Utopia board that did all this. I also main deck Book of Eclipse..Cuz I play Dinos 🦕🦖
