I would wait a little longer until the Phantom Mavic is under 1000$ she has a sport mode of 70 kmh she has obticle avoidence to the front and to the ground she has focus mode thats really great and she is flight ready in 3 minutes and foldable so you can store her pretty good in a rucksack or bag or whatever else her camera is better than the one from the phantom 3 and 4 and she has a flight time of 20 to 25 minutes indepence how you fly and which mode but i guess the mavic is the right decision i have the phantom 1 and phantom 3 advance if i would have known that the Mavic would come out so fast and that it wuld be so small and low priced i would have waited for it damn.

However I'm asking myself the following question: is it really worth to spend 800+$ on a drone whose battery lasts 20 minutes only and is still pretty bulky to carry with me when on vacation? I'm wondering how is it that they still can not come up with some retractable/foldable landing gear/rotor arms or something.Do you think it would be better waiting a couple of years until they'll roll out a more durable and smaller drone?I'm asking this because I found some time ago an old tech magazine from 1999 in my house where they were advertising a dvd player for around 2000$. Two years later already prices dropped to 200$ and obviously the performance got better. This concerns pretty much every piece of technology, including drones. What do you think?
I have the Phantom 3 STD & 4k. I got the 4K for $885 Aussie $ which works out to $660 USD! what a bargain & great drone. Waj is right, lightbridge is fine if you want to go crazy distances, but for normal usage like real estate photograph & general shots, WiFi is fine & totally acceptable. I also love the STD, you get a few extra minutes over the other Phantom 3's of run time & camera quality is also excellent. I will only buy the Phantom 4 when prices drop before the Phantom 5 comes out.

you got 26 minutes of flight time? You and Dji must love Colorado because the smoke is so good. Their are bunch of Utube videos that show the comparisons between P3 and P4. It's about 2-3 minutes max.

I just get scared of the “obstruction” factor of the 34k WiFi back when this vid came out. I’ve had the 34k for two years now and it hasn’t failed me yet so I’m pleased with the aircraft even tho this review let me down back when I was trying to figure things out.

the phantom 3 pro has d-log for video files which is their version of log files you can also just choose a flat profile too yes I don't have a phantom 4 but I would guess they'd have the same of not more

you kinda did, but you kinda didn't... in the title it says "vs DJI Phantom 3 Professional" but the P3 drone he has isn't a Professional, it's a Phantom 3 4k, which is basically the Phantom 3 Standard but with a 4k camera. Very misleading title actually which in turn makes the video pretty confusing and somewhat inaccurate.
He specifically said P3P and P4 have the same range, and went on to say that the P3-4k doesn't have lightbridge. I'm not sure how you could've misunderstood that. Watch it again: 4:15

vinny if you have never flown before pick up either a blade inductrix, or even a blade nano qx and get the feel for flying first. For the extra you spend on one of these quadcopter it will be well worth the money.
Bruh, if it's ur first quad.. Don't get a phantom cuz when it's time to fly a real quad then ur not gonna kno what the crap to do. First spend like a month with the syma x5c r somthin, then buy a phantom so u atleast know how to fly a real quad without GPS...
dude grab a Hubsan H501s to get used to how to fly..... Last thing you want to do is crash a $1000 drone into your neighbors car at 3 feet altitude....

+IgWannA2 With the Phantom 3 Adv/Pro You can get 1.2 miles. You can easily get more if you're flying in very large open areas.
+IgWannA2 Range depends do you live CE or FCC area. So if you live in US you get longer range

p3pro and p3 4k are so very different. p3 4k is just a bit enhanced p3 standard - no lightbridge for instance..
