This vlog was both entertaining and informative I enjoyed watching. This is why rural life is the best life fresh organic fruits & vegetables in abundance, cleaner air and more land space. It is definitely therapeutic being around nature.🌽🍍🍉🍈🥑🏖🏞🇯🇲🌴☀️🌴
Teacher is a real queen. Maximum respect to her and the way she know how to navigate her land, cultivate it and feed herself and others. Big up teach and the rest a all you beautiful women in the video 👑🇯🇲
It's funny how a lot of us take the rural side of Jamaica for granted and now being away wished for those experiences and memories. Happens that a family member called all the way from St.Ann's telling me about sore throat when exists herbs close by that are absolutely remedy. It is even sadder that some especially the young in the flora of those rural environments can't even identify the chew stick plants and even the spirit weeds much less other plants of tremendous qualities but will know the pharmaceutical names in the drug/pharmaceutical stores for what they are personally experiencing. Anyway, your presentation was great, your relatives the scenery beautiful a given of much of the similarities in some rural communities and great reminder of Jamaica's inner beauties. The chocolate or cocoa pods from which seeds are taken before put to dry then process ( dried, parched/roasted and pounded) to make chocolate and the broken branch of pimiento the pimiento plant with the green berries before put to dry in the sun were identifiable, at the beginning. The otaheite apples just brought me back. Surprise that you just learnt the whole plantain plant had to be cut down when getting the bunch however it's never too late. Wow! the guineps as well as the milky flesh that the chocolate seeds are embedded in make for a delicious snack or juice. The entertainment near the end with the Elder Lady was indeed so sweet. Much respect.
Rochielin, I love your country vlogs. I admire how Tavia works hard, keep up the great work cuz. Your family members are so funny and I can feel the love among you.

Enjoying your Country Video which I have asked you for but in Trinidad we call your Jamaican Apple Pomorac, same fruit but you guys also call what we call Sugar Apple, you call it sweet sap, its amazing bc we live in the Caribbean but yet still our termology is sooo different, nps with that and I respect it and its nice to learn my neighbours culture, you are doing such a great job at such a young age but what's soo impressive they you have your Mum with you and supporting right thru, that is soo great, God bless you both !!😇💟👍
@@Rochielin actually almost every fruit you can make chow with, don't know if it is🇹🇹 Trinidad & Tobago thing? Caribbean thing? The ingredients is simple & can vary on person (salt, black pepper, hot pepper*scotch bonnet or what ever hot pepper you prefer*, garlic, shadow beni) there is a sting a lil kick, added flavour when you are finished you are sometimes sweating from the pepper, licking your fingers, drinking lots of water.
You never disappoint lady. Your family and the "walking" joke...ay sah. You were were all on a roll with all those walks. Those apples can be eaten without being washed. They are organic. The water goodly dutty dem up. When we were small we used to bite off the top and use it to "clean" off the apple 🤷🏾♀️ Big up cousin Tay, and tell grandma thanks for her song. You guys are getting us through this pandemic, trust me. On the matter of dogs eating goats, well when I was a little girl I heard of dogs eating the neighbours' one one goats. They would eat the whole goat and leave the head...so they would say🤷🏾♀️.
