Fantastic start for 2015. Love that there wasn't any snow!!! Went through a 70 degree F change in Chicago and visiting Louisville in 24 hours. A glass of wine, the view, the Airbus, and the meal look heavenly.

My father flew on Aeroflot recently from Moscow to Guangzhou and he said that it was a fast route and a great airline, so when I'm going to Guangzhou I going to fly on Aeroflot

This is the first time when I see борщ on a flight meal! I am romanian and we also eat that alot, but we call it "ciorba". In Moldavia it's also called "bors".
Aeroflot has changed that's for sure, and they seem great, a step in the right direction for bringing Russia up to date with the rest of the world. Now they need to focus on tourism and renovating many places to encourage travel.
I was traveling with Aeroflot to China. It was a great pleasure for me to be on a triple seven. When I was booking my flights Aeroflot offered the best choice. I thought that such a great airline would give me tea in samovars, crew members would read Tolstoy and Dostoevsky. Of course they did not, but their service was brilliant. The food was very good, rarely can one have shrimp or pancake for breakfast. I had shrimp on my way back from China. The crew's English was OK, but some of them did not speak any English at all.
***** Oh, that's Transaero Russian Airlines and it's probably in their fleet for quite some time. Many Russian airlines select to (or have to) register their aircraft abroad when leasing them from a big leasing company. Probably this might secure the leasing company's access to these airframes in case of the airline's bankrupcy etc., which might be difficult with an RA-registration. But that's merely guessing.

How did the Russians discover how to make aircraft? That slightly baffles me! But whatever...I like it! And I'm beginning to think how can Russian Airlines get WiFi on board their airlines! That baffles me too! Or has that already done? I have more than one question in my head I have hundreds of questions in my head and most of them is for the deity I worship!
