The fulfillment of a vision and dedication, a manifestation of sacrifice and love,
A shelter of unselfish fellowship, an abode of God’s protection. This home where the broken hearted receive consolation, now accommodates over 350 lives.
The concept of starting a home where the unloved, destitute and rejected lot of our society can be accommodated was birthed in Pastor Jacob Joseph’s (Founder & Managing Trustee of Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan) mind in the year 1995. Thereafter in the year 2000 he started this home with one person which over the years extended care & shelter to over 1000+ such destitute in its 22 years of journey till now & presently caters to providing care & shelter to such destitute of different incapacitations also who are totally hopeless and helpless on their own.
Our Services are categorized and rendered in three care Units which are as follows :-
1. Gilgal Old Age Care Unit
2. Gilgal Mental Care Unit
3. Gilgal Differently Abled Care Unit
Gilgal Old Age Care Unit is further divided into the following 3 sub groups
1. Normal Old Age Unit
2. Alzheimer’s Care Unit
3. Pain & Palliative Care Unit
Gilgal Mental Care Unit consist of those who have Psychiatric disorders
Gilgal Differently Abled Care Unit is further divided into the following 3 sub groups
1. Those who are Physically Challenged
2. Those who have Cerebral Palsy & Autism
3. Those who are Mentally Challenged
Our Services & Care includes Shelter, Food, clothes and medical Care which incorporates Physical, Mental and Medicinal care to all our Inmates in all Units.
Following Therapies are also given like PHYSICAL THERAPY, MUSICAL THERAPY, SPORTS CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, PICNICS AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMS.

Appreciate the work of Ashwasa bhavan. This video should be an eye opening to churches and organization who abandons padtors' widows and children. Soon after the death of a pastor, wife and children are forced to leave whether they have own house or family to support. The situation of people who came alone in faith is all the more difficult. There should be policies made by the church to take care of padtors' widows . Otherwise we are standing against the word of God James 1:27 though boast about " Daiva makkal".praying that leadership will take a stand soon.
