Beautiful apartment! What I can’t seem to understand about most Korean apartments is that they put so much storage space for shoes and pantry but why don’t the rooms have built in closets? And how about one room apartments? Why so many one room apartments don’t account for a space for a fridge? I’ve seen apartments where the fridge sits right by the bathroom or even in a separate room because the kitchen is too small. I’m always curious to why they didn’t account for fridge space in the first place ?
Usually, when you buy the apartment you can add those things. They offer some built-in closet storage and add-ons for the smaller rooms. Some people also just prefer making one full room into their closet. I am only renting so my apartment didn't come with all those extra built-in items like vanity, air-con system, closet storage, etc. Alot of people also do complete renovations on a new apartment adding the interior designs they like so most apartments are just built with basics and people can redo and add what they want. When we moved into our new apartment complex, there were so many apartments around us doing renovations and adding new interior stuff. I thought it was crazy because all the apartments were still brand new. For one rooms/offictels, the fridges are usually built into the storage so that it blends in. My husband lived in a one-room apartment when we met and he actually didn't even have a fridge, lol. I guess some people just order takeout or don't really need a fridge. All the one rooms I've lived in, I've only had a very small mini fridge, I guess thats just the norm.
This looks so nice! My fiancé and I are looking at LH as well but we weren't sure we would be eligible as He's Korean and I'm American. I'd really like to try though!
