I would say she's the asshole, but her husband agrees. That, and the other family members didn't have a problem with it until the SIL. If more family complained, yes the asshole. For the second story. If I was family from that woman, i would replied, why do we have to do chores and groceries? If you don't have time for it just call the store and say what you need than you just habe to drive to that store and paying. ( a store where i live those this) and it's really rude to let guests clean up your mess. I understand if your tired from having a baby, just ask your mom or MINL

The way you pronounce Asian sounding names hurts me and gives my husband (who is Asian) a visceral reaction....The end of that story where you went on a mispronunciation tirade was not okay in the slightest and sadly why I will be unsubscribing. I'm disappointed.
