Glasses man, you should definitely pay for the glasses. That was definitely not an accident and if your children break something that doesn't belong to you then you should pay for it. She's not trying to get extra money.

So not an asshole I've worked in child care for years. As we as have worn glasses daily since I was 6. This is a risk of the job. And honestly she should have insurance on the glasses through her health insurance.
