super saiyan Exactly. Too much money for a damn trampoline lol. I noticed their neighbors have a trampoline, so I'm thinking they wanted to "one up" them.
This is one of those ideas that seems amazing as a kid and totally impractical as an adult. Like eating Oreo's for breakfast. I can see a perpetual pool of water at the bottom of the trampoline being a massive breeding ground for mosquitoes. Or if there's enough sunlight to evaporate the water, weeds overrunning underneath it. And even if neither of those situations prove a problem, it looks like you have a reduced area beneath it and a perpetual risk of cave-in from the surrounding walls. But hey, at least you don't have to climb the 3.5-4 feet to get on it.
water will drain into the ground just like it does with lots of ground all over the world when it rains. sides are not steep enough to cave in, and it looks like they installed some sort of structure in there anyways. my main concern would be that when everyone decides they don't like trampolining anymore (2 weeks later on average) you're gunna have to dig it back up and bring in dirt to fill the damn ass hole
MrRideutah that's cool that you know for a fact that there are millions of them. I'd bet money pretty safely that your number is largely inflated but thanks.
My dad bought me one of these for my birthday and they are great it taught me how to backflip and front flip flat by doing the flips off the trampoline and on to the floor I definitely recommend getting one of these if you are an all round trampoline loving person that wants to learn how to do flips flat on ground 👍🏼
7sevenout7 from personal experience pools are much much harder cause the pipes the hole the crane needs to put the pool on the ground and it can take 4-6 months for a pool
The trampoline itself is already over $1600. How much for the installation? What is the actual duration of this time-lapse? And who will tell the 5 year old inside me that "we can't afford it" and then comfort him as he finishes a cold can of baked beans underneath a freeway overpass?
Trampoline was around $500. Digging out the dirt, hauling it away, putting plastic panels on the trampoline, and all the other labor about another $2,000.
Never heard of that before, but it definitely looks much safer and practical than a bunch of kids jumping on one that only tall, thin metal legs hold it up. Just make sure you will get a lot of use out of it before spending thousands of dollars for a trampoline.
I did a mulch job about a month back and they had a trampoline in the ground like this one. Under the trampoline was probably 6ft of water, it was also on a very wet lawn. 2 in one a trampoline and and a pool!! Lol
the worst thing is that all this would be hella expensive and those kids cant do any tricks so why did they get this really expensive set up for just messing around, I would have thought a store trampoline would be better for just messing about ? :)
This is the most underrated way to lower your property value while at the same time creating a gathering point for water to stand still and effectively be protected from being evaporated by the sun so that mosquitos can breed uncontrollably AND costing you money for labor and equipment. Nice!
I dug mine in by hand, with a little help from my eldest son, who was a young teen at the time. I was a single mum then. I couldn't get through a tree stump so asked a neighbour, he got through some of it, but not all, so I left the trampoline about a foot off the floor. I have a much deeper depth in the middle than you have, and need it too! It looks like yours will hit the soil with a high bounce! No water ever stores underneath, it just disappears in the earth. I have boarded a lot of underneath out too, as they use that as a den occasionally.
I was lucky with my back yard it has a Retention pond so when I put mine in the ground I put a drain and I left it a little above the ground to Relieve the pressure when u jump on it and weed eat easier.
not understanding the benefits of having an in-ground trampoline? also, make sure u call ur home insurance and tell them u now have a trampoline. enjoy!
NorthPlayyyer Many insurers don't cover trampolines because of the high potential for injuries associated with them. That means you could be held liable for any resulting accidents, even if someone is on your property without your knowledge. So should the kid next door furtively practice her tumbling routine, fumble the dismount, and sustain a serious injury - the costs could fall on you. In some cases, an insurance company may offer a trampoline exclusion provision - meaning if someone sustains an injury, you would automatically have to pay the medical bills out-of-pocket. If your company happens to be OK with the trampoline, you should find out if there are any specific requirements in place, such as trampoline safety pads or netting. Remember, if you find a home insurer that does cover trampolines, you may end up paying more for your policy - attractive nuisances can lead to an increase in your homeowners insurance rates.
Must be a stupid American thing to need insurance on a trampoline. Over here, we don't get lawsuits filed for people who get injured on them, we use the rules of, "you break your arm on my trampoline doing stupid shit, it's your fault." I fell off a neighbour's trampoline when I was a kid and broke my leg, I was pissed because I was careless but i didn't go and report my neighbours for letting me use their trampoline. Regardless, the benefits are that your young children can get on the trampoline without having to climb, and you don't have to worry about them falling 3ft onto the ground and further injuring themselves. The other benefit is that when you are learning flips and tricks, you have more space to do them because you can bounce off the trampoline and land them to hard ground.
RPV Chrqmatic They paid people to come and do the work for them. Lol, why would the parents (who I am assuming are rich) want to do all this work themselves?
is there a benefit to doing this vs the way it's designed to be above ground? in my town you have to have a net around your trampoline by law.....does this make it exempt? Plz explain
Everybody’s ripping on the idea but I still think it’s cool. Sure it’s a bit impractical but it’s not the same trampoline everybody has. It’s a cool idea if you have kids.
And that's the last time they ever used it
Benjyy951 🤣🤣🤣 3 grand later
super saiyan
Exactly. Too much money for a damn trampoline lol.
I noticed their neighbors have a trampoline, so I'm thinking they wanted to "one up" them.
Benjyy951 😂😂😂
Benjyy951 facts. But at least they can take it out and build a pool. Im sure thats the future plan after they get bored of it.
I know right they just spent a grip on that stupidity
cool I've always wanted a trampoline with a mosquito pond under it!
Shelby Seelbach haha lol
Shelby Seelbach LOL
More like weeds
And a nest of Venomous Snakes aha there were underlying motives behind it go ahead kids we have life insurance on all of you .
This is one of those ideas that seems amazing as a kid and totally impractical as an adult. Like eating Oreo's for breakfast.

Omnipotentous 009ihbdffdgc😡😶😷😞😰😰😟😱😍😚😘😒😵😲
With millions of in ground tramps across America your concerns are invalid
water will drain into the ground just like it does with lots of ground all over the world when it rains. sides are not steep enough to cave in, and it looks like they installed some sort of structure in there anyways. my main concern would be that when everyone decides they don't like trampolining anymore (2 weeks later on average) you're gunna have to dig it back up and bring in dirt to fill the damn ass hole
MrRideutah that's cool that you know for a fact that there are millions of them. I'd bet money pretty safely that your number is largely inflated but thanks.
LongIslandHobbyist considering 500,000 tramps are sold a year in the USA I'd say my estimate is not far off at all.
My dad bought me one of these for my birthday and they are great it taught me how to backflip and front flip flat by doing the flips off the trampoline and on to the floor I definitely recommend getting one of these if you are an all round trampoline loving person that wants to learn how to do flips flat on ground 👍🏼
They dig a better circle then I draw...
Than*
1 summer of trampoline fun and 40 years of a trampoline size hole in the ground.
After this install, every time my son would look bored, I’d say, “You better get that ass out there and get to jumping”...!!!
Omg ! I'd be the same
1:16 draw me like one of your French girls
Claim1234 lol
Lol
It's like 3am why am I watching this
Meeeeeeeeee
Spencer Berke hahaha wtf didn't expect to find you here
Spencer Berke 11pm for me 🤣
Mr_Right .-. 11:43pm for me
Spencer Berke I
his kids will still only use it twice a year. only cost him 2000$ more than a regular trampoline
MrNategeo he still had to buy the regular trampoline
MrNategeo Looks like u can barely even jump on this thing, there was like 2 feet of space between the trampoline and the dirt underneath lol
MrNategeo What kind of ungrateful shit ass kids would only use this twice a year. I used to have a trampoline and I used it for at least 2 hours a day
Lucien Richardson They can even jump on it bro, it got a foot of jump space which means u ain't goin higher than a hop.
AllSeeingGuy TM I have a tiny exercise trampoline that I jump on for like 2 hours a day just because its fun
So thats how you build a pool
Dank illusions for some pools yes some no
Dank illusions ? It says trampoline.
Dank illusions a 1year old comment...
Lynxis Art it's a joke.
Lynxis Art Its a joke dude XD
Sir you are a magician with that lil trackhoe
I want the bus...
lol
eric lolley lol I saw that too
They are the best installers! Over 900 installs
That looks like HUGE pain in the ass to dig out. I'd be easier to build a darn pool! :)
The inground trampoline takes like 4-5 hours building a pool take 2-3 months plus your yard gets ruined and all the yard work is loud
You can make an in ground pool easier in one day? That would be one sad looking pool my friend.
7sevenout7 from personal experience pools are much much harder cause the pipes the hole the crane needs to put the pool on the ground and it can take 4-6 months for a pool
It wasnt a pain to watch someonelse do it! Haha
The trampoline itself is already over $1600.
How much for the installation?
What is the actual duration of this time-lapse?
And who will tell the 5 year old inside me that "we can't afford it" and then comfort him as he finishes a cold can of baked beans underneath a freeway overpass?
A trampoline can be found for as low as 2-300
+L.Pasteur my trampoline was over 300$
We can't afford it.
Trampoline was around $500. Digging out the dirt, hauling it away, putting plastic panels on the trampoline, and all the other labor about another $2,000.
+LivingOnVideo13 your kids have an awesome dad.👍👏
How did you handle drainage and did you do anything to account for air flow? I want to do this when I buy a house.
I've always thought of this and I'm so glad it's a thing!
Never heard of that before, but it definitely looks much safer and practical than a bunch of kids jumping on one that only tall, thin metal legs hold it up. Just make sure you will get a lot of use out of it before spending thousands of dollars for a trampoline.
Seems like a massive waste of money. Should've got a pool at that point smh
What stops the water from caving in the dirt around?
the black walls i assume.
Felicia Crowther and what stops the water from filling in the hole
Felicia Crowther you have to empty the water when it rains
I did a mulch job about a month back and they had a trampoline in the ground like this one. Under the trampoline was probably 6ft of water, it was also on a very wet lawn. 2 in one a trampoline and and a pool!! Lol
Forever Fishing that's exactly what I was thinking. Mosquitos etc
the worst thing is that all this would be hella expensive and those kids cant do any tricks so why did they get this really expensive set up for just messing around, I would have thought a store trampoline would be better for just messing about ? :)
OMG! Guys you are so cool!! Best trampoline setup that i have seen.
All that beautiful soil. I hope they put it another Garden
It's so late and Im so tired yet Im watching this whole video, waiting for a pool, just to realize it says trampoline in the title... Good fkn night
Idk why this was in my feed but I love it
What I like is the vw bus in the back
This is the most underrated way to lower your property value while at the same time creating a gathering point for water to stand still and effectively be protected from being evaporated by the sun so that mosquitos can breed uncontrollably AND costing you money for labor and equipment. Nice!
Volkswagen Bus 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍
Dude that was good hope those kids liked it cuz it took you guys like a long time probably
Really cool expensive trampoline
Y'all need to stop hating
Nice VW type 2!
I dug mine in by hand, with a little help from my eldest son, who was a young teen at the time. I was a single mum then. I couldn't get through a tree stump so asked a neighbour, he got through some of it, but not all, so I left the trampoline about a foot off the floor.

No water ever stores underneath, it just disappears in the earth. I have boarded a lot of underneath out too, as they use that as a den occasionally.
And then..... they went back inside to play video games and never used it again 😂
They have used it at least 5 times.
LivingOnVideo13 omg 5 tines. Totally worth the money lmao
Handy when you have one of these diggers, try doing it with a spade only 😉👍🏼
Trying to one up your neighbors trampoline I see
what a great idea, much safer. and get the loader driver some!
Now we wait for the rain
hay neighbor you got a trampoline ? i got a IN-GROUND trampoline XD
And we did this without a crane ... That was more than 4 hours
for me a day
Justgamingzz lol a crane? You mean excavator?
Matt Renfro it's actually a mini ex lol
Elliott Fontaine lol ikr
Elliott Fontaine call it what you want, I've run all kinds.
Great Volkswagen bus!
What does that Volkswagen bus do there?
We put Christmas lights on it. ruclips.net/video/pe9cGIVaedE/видео.html
LivingOnVideo13 Does it still drives?
Yes it does.
TheSmallGuy thats their in-van storage shed
Nice work on that machine! Impressive!!!
and when it rains its a pool yay
Ezay Hayhay TWO IN ONE OFFER!! LIMITED ADDITION - ONLY IN WINTER
What's better at devaluing you're property and raising you're insurance than an above ground pool?
Um are you guys interested in selling that bus??
It takes this much work to stick a trampoline in the ground?
How long did this all take?
This will fill up nicely 👌 come first rain fall 😎
Good job ! 😉
That was why too much work for trampoline....excavator operator got skills though!👍👍
Great idea and all but your inground trampoline turns into a bouncing pool after a heavy rain....
Upload it again after a heavy rainy night...
It's all fun and games until someone brakes it and falls into the hole...
What I was thinking
Volkswagen t2 Love IT!
come on kids let's go bounce in the pond outside
The best in this Video is the VW T1
The parents were probably thinking after the kids are done we can make a hottub
A lot of the comments are shitting on this, and while it would be over the top for me I still think it's pretty cool
They was just trying to out do the neighbors. 😂😂😂
Very creative idea this could be taken a whole other step with surrounding decors
what happens when it rains?
I'm pretty sure it would get evaporated
Here's what happens when it rains a lot. You get a trampoline pool! :)
ruclips.net/video/eeLG8Ay4Xos/видео.html
it gets wet
When it rains you cover it
Soil erosion happens.
I was lucky with my back yard it has a Retention pond so when I put mine in the ground I put a drain and I left it a little above the ground to Relieve the pressure when u jump on it and weed eat easier.

So this is one of those 'Murica greatness things. In my country people aren't stupid enough for such things to exist.

Livereater00 o
2x speed = Ultra time lapse of a time lapse
Weird , I hope they thought of drainage
Why do I find this so fascinating?
Bruh a regular one is better it is removable and u can jump higher
Nice Volkswagen t1
+lauren c it gets wet
Falah Eliass
Where will the water go if you put it underground?
the kids didnt even help their parents wtf
That's what i was thinking. They were probably inside playing on their brand new i-pads.
Findus546 Well what is a five year old gonna know about using cranes and digging holes?
They can dig?
RPV Chrqmatic They paid people to come and do the work for them. Lol, why would the parents (who I am assuming are rich) want to do all this work themselves?
good machine driver. 👌
The neighbors are all jealous... lol
is there a benefit to doing this vs the way it's designed to be above ground? in my town you have to have a net around your trampoline by law.....does this make it exempt? Plz explain
trampoline = disaster waiting to happen
Everybody’s ripping on the idea but I still think it’s cool. Sure it’s a bit impractical but it’s not the same trampoline everybody has. It’s a cool idea if you have kids.
I'm thirsty.
Congratulations!
and I thought I had money
If we had this when I was I kid I wouldn't have broken my arm. Lol
What a waste...just another example of people not knowing what to do with their money👎
Please tell me what you do with yours besides bring safety and joy to your kids.
b A simpler transaction indeed. Oh and his kids will probably use it once every other month lol. The rest of their time will be spent on their phones.
What a great and safe idea!!!!!
Yeah I had one back the day
You know life's bad when you end up watching something like this
why did you move the dirt forth and back, seven times?
How is the drainage handled? It seems like this giant hole could collect water after a heavy rain and become a cesspool of mosquitoes and other bugs.
could you not just put a tarp over it when it's not in use? and even if it does rain it won't create a pool of water.
How much for the orange vw bus?
I'll bet the critters love their new home.
Keep going nearly 1k
This must be the neighborhood where Zombies Ate My Neighbors occurred. Those trampolines are a dead giveaway.
Is there a pump to pump put water after it rains...or does it become a mosquito breeding nest
that's a good idea. does it fill with water?
Don't think so where is the drainage installation? That is going to fill up muddy as hell
The kids looked funny jumping on the trampoline, kind of like South Park. lol
How much would you charge for this install?
How much money did this inground trampoline cost? And is it safe for people 7+
I rather have a swimmingpool in my backyard. Such a trampoline will get used once in the month. But nice clean and efficient digging job.
Is that VW Bus for sale?
