Hi Roger, Good review on your chisels from the US. Your doing a good job on your Parkside lathe ,keep it up practice makes perfect. As always a great video Take care
Hi roger great video. You should have a bowl gauge and a spindle gauge in a set of six. The chisels look ok, but you need to hold them properly when turning. I wish I lived nearby as i'm a woodturner. I could pop round and help you carry the parkside lathe to the skip😉
Glen teagle @ukwoodcraft carbide tools and chisels great informational video aswell as sells his own carbide tools. Another decent lathe at decent price midi lathe anyway lumberjack
On second thoughts start turning smaller pieces first use a couple pieces of 2x1 laminated together and try turning that down to a small mouse or something similar, you will get better results. Bry
I've had these in my Amazon wishlist for a few years now. I believe yours is the only review I've ever seen. Good info. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback :)

Hi Roger, check out the Blue light Turner.
Sorry?
@@thegarageworkshop4791 on RUclips, he's a woodturner that works out of his shed. Loads of useful advice. Ps, love the channel.
Pps, hrs called the blue light turner because he's a paramedic.
@@LeeSparrow-o6e Ah I see...
Those tools are able to take you a lot further than the lathe will. You will need to keep them sharp.
Totally agree Mark...will do!
Try going to machine mart for a good lathe at a fair price, keep trying to continue woodturning, watch andys cornish workshop for inspiration. Bry
