This game came out and lost all its attentions in a short time span but knowing it somehow got eight seasons (never seen a single season update trailer from this account) and randomly got a skating update kinda makes me happy

You don't even really own the full game. You get 1 starter snowboard tha is to slow to be real and you wreck from 4 feet of air. The starter bikes jus slip and slide everywhere. And this is what you are forced to use unless you connect to the internet so tha you can be subjected to microtransactions and ads 😂
It's disgusting, ubisoft should give up cuz I'm out here playing skate 3. A game I've owned for a decade, in full, all of it, since the day I purchased it I owned it and was free to work for andunlock all its features.

Water related sports could also be a good possibility, like jet-skis, surfing, or even foilboarding with the abundance of still bodies of water around the map.
Kayaking down the rapids of the mountains I think would be great 😃
What looks so good about it is that it seems like a mix of skate and tony hawk, possibly a perfect bend if done right🙌🏼

@@pwd1134 yeah sadly not. But sometimes, when we jump on dirt bike, they do some automatic free styles move. We can’t control it, it’s automatic move. Hope you know what I meant 😅
@@pwd1134 I’m only talking about The Crew Motorfest here, i never play enough The Crew 1 & The Crew 2. Because I dont like the handling in previous game, but man Motorfest is far more enjoyable for me.

I want to get the game but I missed during summer sale because previous Uplay launcher didn't work for me and now the new Ubisoft launcher is working for me. No you can buy the skate only if you want
The season pass is for the first 4 seasons and I think BMX. This comes out as a separate DLC, there's no season pass 2. Yet.
Will the game introduce stances finally? Or will skating also be perpetually regular stance?
In the playtest they got stances, but the controls stays the same whenever you're in goofy or regular
@@TotallyNotANormie so tricks are still regular input even if you skate goofy. So nothings changed. Had to adjust keybindings to make goofy work on snowboards, grabs were flipped, etc. Sad news.

Saw riders republic on sale and thought about getting it. Heard good things and the game looks fun. Now... i was interested on picking the game up because they just incorporated skateboarding in the game. However... when i went to the game page on steam, i saw its an extra 40 dollars just to be able to skate.... this is not a free to play game... you do not need to nickel-and-dime people. This is already a 40 dollar game. And good on ya for keeping it a good price right out the gate. But another 40 just to be able to skate is seriously ridiculous. This honestly stopped me from getting the game. Glad people enjoy it but im personally not spending 80 on a game just to be able to skate

Nope, for the first time in Ubisoft history they acturally pay you for playing the game, well only the skateboard part...
Though this is great news for you and I, all the other sports will have an added "rendering fee" this means, every time you render a sports item you will be charged 0.20$. 0.40$ for two skis naturally
