MY favorite offshore lure has to be the underspin in florida,it has gotten me hawgs out deep! And suspended. I need a hair jig to try to get my hair bite on! But I just tried jackhammer for the 1st time w true setup rod combos. It was awsome, and I cought on both 1/2 and 3/4 .the Texas rig has been hot for me lately too.just a 3/16 to the senco unpegged.i tried the Norman dd and burned it, and wiggle wart with no luck. But the jackall bling flat side was chewed.

Thus never really got proficient. Then my job required me to miss the last fifteen years. Trying to get back into fishing. With that being said, I caught more off shore fish on a C-rig, football jig and even the bifflebug. However my largest off shore fish came on a Mann’s 30 plus 🤦🏻♀️ .. over 8#.. forgot the small numbers. Could never duplicate it 🤷🏻♀️

I hate offshore fishing. But if I had to chose one would probably be shaky head. I prefer fishing shallow and in fact I do it all year even if it only means I catch 3 fish.
