- NEVER BEFORE SEEN: Chris Zaldain's final 10 minutes at Lake Guntersville after Bassmaster LIVE ended. Zaldain fished until the final possible second to get back to weigh-in on time and went from 5 fish for 10 pounds to 18-10 in just 10 minutes. He came up 6 ounces short at Lake Guntersville, which was his second 2nd place finish by less than a pound in 2019.

Zaldain is one of the most likeable anglers on tour, but when it's not your time its just not your time
Not sure how it works with the wear and tear from the bigger baits but I use braided split rings for my blade baits, helps take away leverage from the fish so they can’t throw the bait. Might work with the flutter spoon not sure tho😂

Give CZ a ton of credit, there's not alot of guys that will stop to give a group of kids autographs after lamenting possibly losing a $100,000 tournament. I know it's not always easy to see in the moment but some things in life are bigger that dollar signs.
