I have the same set of battery operated door seal lights on my C8 and mine do the same thing every once in a while. But overall I really can't complain. It is what it is and it's not that big of a deal. Really. Don't let it get the best of you. As far as closing the front hood is concerned, when I think of it I either use my t-shirt or I'll use one of those polishing cloths whose name I can't think of right now that you polish or wax the car with and close it with that and this way my hand doesn't touch the paint at all. As far as lunch control goes, I have my car 2 years this December and I haven't used launch control either ! I just keep waiting for the right time and the right road surface and where I know the cops aren't hiding somewhere close by. But to be honest with you I just I enjoy driving the car so much. I almost don't miss it. I have 3,200 miles on my 2020 HTC but make no mistake, I will launch the car in the near future. Actually and as a matter of fact, speaking of all that, I had a roll race from a traffic light the other day with a Jaguar F-Type, supercharged V8. It was one of those 550 horsepower cars and I ate 'em alive. And I still didn't floor it and I jumped out ahead of him by two cars even if it was only about an eighth of a mile and that was all she wrote! I guess we win- lol. Take care.
Now that's funny, your roll race with the F-Type. First, a roll race is hitting it from 30mph or 50mph, not from a stand-still red light but anyways you said you ate 'em alive 🤣 I have a 2019 C7 Grand Sport and my wife has a 2021 F-Type R with 575hp. We semi-race often and she blows me away but we're going to the drag strip and do it right to see the real deal. I have a C8 E-Ray and a C8 ZR1 reserved along with a C9 via Criswell--can't wait. Hey Friend. I have a C8 HTC LT3, Rapid blue with Tension Blue dipped interior. Got it December 17th, was made in November. Just turned 6000 miles. I had the one customization done in January -Lambo Doors. My Vette is winged. Anyway, to get to your point, you DO have a mute button on the steering wheel. That third phone control should mute your radio. Enjoy!!!

After one year wait, mine was built 12/3/2022. A 3LT HTC Rapid Blue. Can’t wait to pick her up from the NCM in a couple of weeks. And believe me, I’m gonna drive her.

I just ordered mine in Hypersonic Grey two weeks ago. Dealer made the mistake in telling me if I want to make changes I still have time. Been back to upgrade some features twice now. He told me from the rip that it’ll be a year before it arrives. Needless to say, this is going to be a looooong wait.
just a heads up. your sensor is faulty. a lot of 2022s have this problem. that green light is not suppose to be on during the daytime. if you look at the forum you will see a big thread about this. your solution is replacing the sensor which is very cheap or there was an over the air update.
Don’t you have problem with the squeaky sound coming from the roof after you have not opened the roof for a while? But it will be gone after you lower to top and put it back on?
I so enjoyed your video. I ordered a c8 and should be getting it in a few months. I'll be driving mine daily as well. I'll be driving my car from the museum over 500 miles to my home as well. What did you do to properly break in a new car over a long highway ride?
To be totally transparent for the first couple of hours I was watching RPMs and trying to regulate but after I started getting tired I just wanted to get home and drove the car regular
I have a rapide blue 2022 HTC, 6k miles. I have a creak behind my left ear/left shoulder when going slower over uneven terrain or bumps. I used dialectical grease on everything related to the HTC but no dice. Any advice? Does yours have that if you drive without music on
I did really nothing not to like but I did mention that I did not want to spend the extra thousands of dollars to get twilight blue interior. With the sky cool gray you just have to thoroughly clean it at least once a month which is not really a big deal.
@@williewilliams9871 Thanks Willie. I was wondering if the lighter interior color would require some additional upkeep -sounds like there's a little cleaning involved. Looks really nice and the contrast with the Rapid Blue is very tasteful.
Beautiful car and thanks for the video. I just started the process with Ciocca by handing over the $1k deposit so now I sit and wait for the rest of the process. 😑. Did you have to go to Ciocca at all at any time before you picked up your car or you finalized everything through email? Thanks for any info and good luck with your Vette!

Their process is really smooth. After your car shipped from Chevy you guys will do all of the paperwork while the car is in transit. They will overnight everything that you need and once you send it back basically you just walk in and pick up your car. In my case overnighting the paperwork would’ve got there the same day I was picking up the car I just brought it with me, gave it to my salesman and we were good. What I would recommend is to figure out what accessories you want and purchase those while you wait. Stuff goes on back order and constraint all the time so if you see it available I would just get it.

Ooooooo, I didn’t know there was a clear cover for the HTC! That was the only thing that made me question buying the HTC.
Also- to close the frunk , use the heel of your hand-not your fingers. Less contact, more power.
The phone hang up button will mute the radio. I have a 2021 HTC and when people want to talk I hit the hang up button.
You can mute the Audio by pressing the "end call" button on the steering wheel
I forgot to mention that my C8 is a 2020 Blade Silver HTC with almost 17,000 miles

It’s the back window. Every time I go to the dealer they lube it. If you tap the back window switch and crack the window it goes away.
@@williewilliams9871 I put grease on the top like 1/4 inch of the window and in that crevice. I will try to crack it, see if it goes away. Thanks
