I'm obsessed. Marc Martel's voice just sucks me in.
Marc is a great musician as well as a great singer. He is classically trained on the piano, and he also plays guitar and the trumpet.
His real voice sounds like Freddie but he worked on his resonance and mouth movement to achieve that Freddie voice
Marc is spectacular!! I've seen him in concert twice, and will definitely go again!!!
Brian May sings the first stanza which is why it isn’t until the 2nd that Marc pours on the Freddie.
Thats the thing about youtube. New ppl can keep coming by and ppl like this can keep getting discovered over and over.
You all just got to go to one of his concerts you would think that Freddy mercury was truly alive

6:21 - That IS Marc's actual voice. He does NOTHING to make himself sound more like Freddie except pronounce his words with a bit of a "British" sound, to emulate Freddie's accent. He's been asked this multiple times on interviews, as you can imagine.
Marc's natural voice sounds like Freddie. During his shows with his original band Downhere, he got SO many comments that he sounded like Freddie, he decided to capitalize on that. Go back to some of his stuff from Downhere, two of my faves are "The More" and "My Last Amen".
My favorite Downhere song is A Better Way. I love that song.
He’s actually not tryna sound like Freddie which is crazy. That’s just how his voice is naturally
I‘ve never heard of him before, but I went to the movies to see Highlander. Listening to Marc, oh boy I got tears in my eyes. So good.
Check out his old band Downhere. They had some great music, but he really gained fame by covering Queen.

Marc doesn't emulate, or copy, he becomes Freddie when he sings. Watch his face twist and extort the feelings of the song. He is a bit scary to be able to do this.

Taylor, these are likely being put on RUclips out of order. This was probably the first one they recorded.
I think those were from a different channel he uploads from.
I see why you’d think he is trying to sound like Freddi, but he is just singing in his own voice.
