"Ampyang Kacang" camilan kesukaan...ternyata ada dimana-mana, hanya beda nama atau sebutannya. Aku juga suka "ampyang kambil" (kambil = kelapa = coconut), "ampyang gepuk", "ampyang beras" (beras = rice). Ingat saat adik-adik mau mendaki gunung, ampyang tidak pernah lupa bawa.
Add a teaspoon water for every 100 gram of sugar and a pinch of salt so, it's not super sweet or super hard. Not good for brittle teeth like mine..
You can make this with jaggery too..and adding some cardamon makes it flavourful.
In India we call it chikki
in Pakistan we caLL it desiiii peanuts chakaa
