When I lived in Japan back in the 90's, they had alot of those at the Japanese shoe stores. It looks like Adidas but it has 4 stripes. I think I can remember one shoe had 2 big stripes and another shoe had 5 stripes. LOL
love the content john, keep killing itttt!! i commented this idea on another video... would love to see a video where you try tricks you don't seem to do as often like hardflip, inward heel, bs360, or even a quarterpipe/transition session.
nollie heels are so scary on rough concrete for me, but its one of my most consistent tricks. I thinks its because I have nollie heel ptsd because I credit carded one pretty bad when I was a teenager from ghost popping it on some cheese grader concrete lol
I think it’d be cool to see you do a video where you try to do like 20 or so of the tricks that you don’t do that often. Like imposibles, 3 shoves, hardflips, sw front shoves and just all the tricks you don’t normally do.

i was wondering on advice to get unstuck, i’m gotten all the basics down but i seriously don’t know what to do next
Just keep skating. Skate everywhere and keep using those basics everyday. Eventually you’ll come across something cool to try and skate or finally build up the courage to try something you’ve always wanted to but as long as you keep skating you aren’t really stuck. Even if you feel like you’re not progressing every day you’re skating is another day of progression.

I'm 45. Started skating at 43. I started skating in a pair of Asics running shoes. The fellas at my local poked fun at me so I refuse to buy a pair of skate shoes. I've went through about 5 pairs of shoes and I just keep buying the same ASICS over and over again. I can't tell that it would have or will make any difference in my skating situation. I'm comfortable and I'm progressing.....
It genuinely doesnt matter what shoes you wear skate shoes as far as i know just have thicker soles

YES, the 3 stripes is Adidas brand logo. But the shoe brand K-Swiss has 4 STRIPES on the side of some of their shoes. Soooo why was Adidas the brand that this cheap shoe company get compared too?
I John Hill was just trip'n. But I say this just to give caution. That could have been a little start up shoe company that just got some bad press. PLUS this could have "triggered" Adidas. And since they are bigger and more powerful. The could easily go bully this little foreign shoe company and make them stop there process.
So people (ESPECIALLY SKATERS AND SKATE COMPANIES) should be careful when "calling out" something this way.
