Hey Jimmy, I know it's an old video but I received my lens a few weeks ago, and wanted to ask. Do you think coding it as the f1 Noctilux is a good idea, or would you leave it uncoded? I will be using it mainly on the SL2-S and ofc film!

Hi Alex. Unfortunately it did not enter the production phase due to the fact that the creator of the lens is not satisfied with the current build quality. They will try to release a new version which should have better quality but similar optical performance later this year.

Hey, tbh I haven’t tried coding it so won’t be able to answer your question here unfortunately. I think it’s good as is though.
How does it compare with the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f1.2?
Fantastic review. Do you know how this lens compares to the Voigtlander 50mm 1.2 VM?
The Voigtlander is on another level since it is using aspherical elements. Much sharper especially in close distance.
