Thank you so much! 🙏🐾 I love the natural Coton look as well, but it definitely takes some work by both the owner and groomer. But totally worth it! Thanks so much for your kindness! 😍
Love watching you cut and shape the face of Coton de Tulear, Dino. So helpful!! I'm going to watch all your Coton videos soon! Can't wait!! I've been 'winging" it, but I really love Dino's look. I love the way you describe everything in detail . Your personality, along with your voice, is so nice to listen to, as well. THANK YOU!!
Hi there, thank you so very much for your amazingly kind comment! 😍 I am truly a blessed person to be able to work with such beautiful dogs and share them with wonderful people like you. Thanks so much for watching! 🙏💕
Beautiful! Finally a natural-looking cut on a Coton! This is the first time I've seen one - and it looks so much like I cut my Dolly's hair - 😍😀Sadly I can't show you a photo, but it's very, very similar - any other cut on a Coton is not nice. Thank you for posting the tutorial!.
Hi B! Aw, your Dolly sounds precious! And if you're able to keep her in a longer coat, that means you really know how to take care of it! 💕 I agree, I think Cotons look so beautiful in a natural trim. Thanks so much for watching and for your kind comment! (And please feel free to share a pic of Dolly: gina@ginasgrooming.com. Would love to meet her!) 😍
Absolutely lovely cut. I wish you lived near me. The only cut my Coton had was terrible so I do it myself now. Not as good as yours though and you are so lovely with him. Great to get some tips from you. thank you.
Thank you so much! And I'm sorry you had a bad grooming experience... but I love that you are grooming your Coton yourself. Their coats are truly unique in the dog world, and it is clear that you have a passion for learning how to groom your pup perfectly. 💕 Not pushing my videos, lol, but I did a little tribute to my love of the breed recently that u may enjoy. Thanks so much for your kind comment! 🙏 ruclips.net/video/NZIhoitAVM8/видео.htmlsi=Chh-PGMkDFRkA8gc
Thank you so very much! 🙏😍 I've only been to your part of the world when I was very small, but I remember it fondly. I have a French husband, so I have to ask (since I don't quite remember): is daily life there mostly in English or in French? Please enlighten me, if you don't mind! And thank you so much for your kind comment and support! 💕
@@GinasGrooming Nice ! You are the best, patient and kind too! Here, in my part of the world, things happens in english or in french, depending how you feel on the moment. My girls amd family speaks both, so as my grandkids… Kind of important, to succed in life, here anyway.
Gina you are AMAZING! Thank you very much for your extraordinary well explained video! As already said one month ago: "At least a groomer who understands how a Cotton should look like!" Thank you very much again!
Yay, thank you so much! I can't take all the credit - Dino has an amazing coat that seems resistant to matting, so it's like a Groomer's dream come true, lol! Thank you so much for your love of the breed and thank you for your kind words! 🙏💕
could you tell us what brush and mat combs you use and if you sell them or where to buy? thank you for what you do! i have a 1 1/2 year old coton and i like them cut longer so thanks again...
Aw, a baby Coton! How fun! I love that you're keeping your pup in a natural style - it is such a great look and "correct" for the breed! OK, so for the work, you'll need a good slicker brush, a metal comb with different teeth spacing, and a dematting tool. I honestly use like 12 different brushes in my practice, but if I had to pick one, the most versatile is the miracle coat: amzn.to/4e6zjU7. As for combs, I use a few as well, but the basic Andis fine/coarse comb is an affordable and trustworthy option: amzn.to/3MQ2HSH. Now for a dematting tool, I just switched over to a more expensive but safer option than the traditional dematting rake, worth the cost: amzn.to/4diUXUc. Hope that helps and pls let me know if u have any more questions on your grooming journey! 😊
Hi Gigi! I'm in SoCal, so we are close, but far enough that I don't know anyone in your area (sorry!). But look at akc.org and go to the breeder and groomer sections, and I'm sure you'll find someone that appreciates leaving Coton pets in a natural look! Thanks so much for watching! 🙏
At last a groomer who understands how a Coton should look like! Best video on you tube out of all!
Thank you so much! 🙏🐾 I love the natural Coton look as well, but it definitely takes some work by both the owner and groomer. But totally worth it! Thanks so much for your kindness! 😍

Thank you! Great info on keeping coton looking natural. I prefer that look for mine but have not seen a video showing it.

Do you know any Coton De Tulear groomer in the Dallas Texas area? Your video is what I need. Are in Dallas, Texas?
