Bottom Freezer Organization On a Budget!

- Hey everyone! I love me some organization and today I tackled my bottom freezer. This was an absolute mess to start including sticky residue, crushed boxes, and ice everywhere! But I was able to organize it all for a low low price of $23! Check it out and look for my fridge and pantry organization coming soon!

Always remove all boxes I use dollar tree containers to organize my freezer
just got a new bottom freezer/fridge. no dividers provided, or available, for either section. only one large drawer in the fridge. i started searching. what i found was that the 'after market' bins are very expensive. so i looked into kids baskets, dish bins, anything that wasn't typical. target had 5 for $5. nice plastic bin that was a perfect fit for the fridge drawer. 3 across the drawer. 2 left over for the freezer. no need for anything else. well, maybe a lazy-susan in the top.
It can be easier to clean if you take a vacuum to it prior to scrubbing it out. That way you get all the crumbs out....
I love organizing and am at my best when everything has a place and is in its place. (With labels facing forward and in line!) 😂😂
It's very interesting to see how different people organize different types of bottom freezers.

I absolutely love the Container store multi-purpose bins. I use them in my pantry, freezer drawer and upright freezer. I even have the small size in larger baskets in my bathroom linen closet. They are not tapered, there are square which makes it so much easier to fit everything in! 😍

I am purchasing a bottom freezer refrigerator and I'm use to the side by side so I'm glad I found your channel. Many have used dollar store bins to organize and they can only fit three bins. I'm a new subscriber. I'm ordering those bins today!

I recently bought a fridge with the bottom freezer. I love your bottom drawer freezer organization.
I have an upright freezer as well. I recommend putting your items in a cooler when you clean your freezer. I have a couple of Igloo five day coolers, I use when I defrost my upright.

Oh no...I HAVE to do my freezer now after seeing how nice yours looked. What I am DREADING is the deep freezer. Things get swallowed up in that deep abyss. Thanks for motivating me.
That is qere if you had insulator shopping bags would have help keep things . I know I used ours every time I am cleaning our refrigerator and top freezer which I hate. But it is owned by housing. Since we rent a hud owned apartment. I prefered our mothers old side by side of coukd store more frozen foods especially those we made ourselved during our massive food prep and bulk cooking and baking our meals to watch what we eat because of health issues and allergies. But what you did should keep you future food organized and easy to manage and keep future mess under control and thus cleaning easier.

I would "ice-o-late" my ice scoop in a small glass or tray so it doesn't get lost under an efficient ice maker. Great video, I might be motivated to take some organizational steps. Thanks!

Wow your freezer is amazing. I wish I could buy one of those. But say can only get under the counter ones. I'm in the process of decluttering. And bought alot from poundland. Yours will be dollar tree . Great video 👍

Looks awesome! Since this video is three years old and I just bought a LabelMaker like yours, I have to ask how well did those labels stay stuck? 🤣 And did you use the plastic labels or the paper ones?
I just cleaned up mine but need those bins, luckily I have a container store less than 10 minutes from me.

I've been trying to figure this out myself. I have a Samsung RF28R6221SR and it did not come with this Freezer Door Bin. Called Samsung, and they say not part exists despite the fact that there are mounting notches for one. It seems some have been successful with part number DA63-07512A, but it does not seem it will work for my model based on the side mounting spacers on the shelf. If anyone has figured this out for a Samsung RF28R6221SR, please share.
My mom‘s new house has this kind of freezer and I have no idea how to organize it for her. Edina is a bit of a drive if I need to return something. But these are nice.

I was at my Container store yesterdary far from my home too. They swear up and down they never sold a taper tray. Any clues?

Are you sure the plastic white tray is called a taper tray because i cannot find it on the Container Store online store.

A little late but no. I have this freezer and pizzas have to go into my big freezer.
