- Chest freezer organization can be frustrating. This video show the 3 must haves for a well organized system. 1. Universal Freezer baskets which can slide left and right. 2. A system of rails to create 3 zones of storage. 3. A magnetic whiteboard organizer to keep track of the location and age of food in the freezer.

I hate chest freezers for all the reasons you gave plus more.As I'm only 4 ft 11 and for to do anything it was hard.So one day I'm trying to get something out of the freezer to feed 6 kids plus anyone else.I'm leaning over the side lost my balance,and there I was.No one home but me and the baby, I'm hollering like mad my neighbor heard me and came running.She's laughing, I said get me off this thing, Next or same day , I don't remember, when my husband got home I said don't say a word.Get in the car I'm buying a freezer.I made him get me a 27 cubic ft.upright.He said that's expensive , I said tough either I get that one or you are cooking.Because I quit.I got my freezer.Still works , that was 1970.
That is funny. Maybe we should offer a button that when pushed calls out "HELP.....I've fallen in and I can't get out"

Well thought out, but looking at the site these plastic bins and rails can come close to the price of the freezer itself
This is a great idea! My husband is guilty of putting new groceries on top and not digging to find the older stuff at the bottom. Just cleaned out our freezers this morning, we threw out about a quarter of a beef 😞. That hurt, lol.
That is exactly why I developed the Freezermax system. I too had to throw out a bunch of Ribeyes and T-bones

Do not like to pay in advance and wait two months. Would have bought.
You should just sell the freezer with the parts already installed. I'm not likely to buy this and attempt to install in a freezer with the potential of ruining it. I also don't want to go through all the hassle involved with educating myself on the product that would fit, how to install, then purchasing, waiting for it to arrive, trying to install in an already cold freezer that's probably starting to fill. It would be much easier to purchase as a whole product and I would definitely pay more for a freezer with this already in it.
Most people would install it when they defrost...

Wonder how to apply this to a upright freezer. I use recycling food bags. Like with like. Unfortunately you can only use 2 large and 1small or bins.
Humm to me it seems 8 years without clearing out and wipping clean a freezer is way too long.....and Im not one to regularly clean my freezer either mostly the bottom part of the frige itself... thinking of purchasing a freezer chest now this has got me thinking.

How are rails installed?
The rails are placed with a guide to get them at the correct height and level, then held in place with a strong adhesive

I'm assuming that the rail system has to be drilled into the sides instead of just sliding into the freezer. I'd be worried about puncturing something important.

I'll go look for it now. I have to admit that I was really impressed by your system......and I don't impress easily. The best idea I had so far was a cantilever system (like a fishing tackle box) which would be much more difficult than your system.@@freezermax8879

Actually we are waiting on all the components to come in to start shipping. When they finally arrive, we will remove the 'Pre-order' designation
