I'm really proud of this one. The original version was the last track I mixed on my first computer. By the end of the song, the Macbook just couldn't take it anymore. So the song ended a bit abrupt haha Hopefully this version is better. Anxiety for me has definitely been a struggle. But I don't want something I hate determine what I do with my life. So I've been trying my best to keep pushing anyway. Love you all. So grateful to each and every one of you.

I remember blocking out everyone and everything from my life for about a year and half because I was too anxious to leave my house. There was this underlying panic that wouldn't just leave. I pushed so many people away, not because I didn't love them, but because I was afraid to see them. It's hard to explain. I've been fighting like crazy to face these fears and not allow own. I don't want the thing I hate most to tell me how I'm gonna live my life. I hope you guys like this one. Tried to be as honest as possible. Love you all.

“Anxiety” is my favorite song of yours. By far.
The emotion is the vocals is absolutely amazing.
Like, the original had more anger in the vocals. But the extended version has more sadness to it.
Both versions are phenomenal.

For someone who has anxiety all my life and where its messed me up a lot, I feel like this speaks to me very well. Im currently going through hard times in my family and its been very hard getting out of bed before 1Pm 2Pm in the afternoon only to go back to bed a few hours later. I want to be able to rise above everything that is going on and prove that i am more than my anxiety

I've had a panic disorder for 20 years, it's taken so much away from me and stripped me down to nothing as a person. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I love extended versions of songs like this because the extended time period gives the song so much time to change. There are so many different melodies and lyrical rhythms all in one song so by the time it ends you feel like you just went on a whole emotional journey. I get a feeling similar to what I get when I watch a really good movie or finish an excellent book.
Also the base drop at 4:50 is one of the best pieces of music I have heard in my whole entire life. That bit before about staring anxiety in the eyes and watching it sink in your place, finally able to breathe properly, is... incredible.

Jokes aside, your voice is just so beautiful. A beautiful mix of vocal skill and emotion. It is soft sometimes and almost agressive some other times. It expresses a wide array of emotions beautifully.
The instrumental, as usual, isn't disappointing at all. The slow rising of intensity and emotion until reaching emotions like one would feel whilst watching a very emotional and epic movie... That's the best way I can find to put it.
Those parts where the piano is carrying the whole song alone hit like a truck. Always love those.

Edit: 4:47 the part after "catch my breath" really caught me off-guard. It is just magical honestly. An absolute masterpiece! Despite the original version having an abrupt ending, it was still my favourite song of yours. This just amplifies those feelings 10 fold. I feel so many wonderful things right now! The original is a masterpiece, but this is a little different and somehow still a masterpiece. Like what? How did you manage to change the whole vibe but not ruin the song? It's crazy that you were able to make the same song twice but give it such distinct feelings! One of my favorite things about you as an artist is your talent to fully explore different thoughts and feelings through your songs and boy is that talent shining bright right now!
I've always loved the artistic expression that your semi-drowned out vocals had, but when you make your vocals so clear like this it's absolutely incredible to hear all the things that you can do with your voice! (Which isn't to say you should never artistically drown out your voice, this is a "Both. Both is good." situation. I really, really like both.) That first, "I hate everything about you," at 0:55 is crazy beautiful and you need to know that.
Two equally beautiful interpretations that give me such different feelings. In this version I can just feel the agony spill through your vocals just like how the frustration and hatred towards anxiety spilled through in the original. In this version 4:10-4:51 sounds less like you're determined and ready to crush anxiety like in the original and more like crying out in relief that you're *finally* winning, like the feeling is exciting and overwhelming.
I actually really love the abrupt ending of the original. It's like a black hole just... closing, and I felt it fit the lyrics, "All my anxious thoughts they slumber," and the dominating anxiety theme because the racing thoughts just go silent. It makes an intense air of finality. This one ends with more of a nice lingering feeling of peace after finally overcoming a terrible experience.
I always thought that Anxiety was one of your best and now it's one of your best twice!

I'm glad to be able to hear your voice more clearly in these remasters! My biggest gripe with your music was that your voice wasn't clear enough, I wish it would slap me in the face more. Oh I relate so much!! Have this friend from university (we started chatting through the phone) and I have never talked to her irl because I always feel paralyzing anxiety. Usually I was okay talking to friends but with her it's very difficult to get a moment I feel comfortable. I think since we started chatting and not by talking (like how my other friendships have been), I'm afraid that I wouldn't know what to do so I crawl into my shell each time. Hope you overcome your struggles soon!
