My high school guitar was an aria pro ii cardinal series 400 from 1980. Nice guitar. Still have it and as long as i give it a good setup every year or so it still plays and sounds great!

Funny enough I saw the trem on another guitar recently… another Matsumoku guitar but not an Aria. Anyway, this guitar has a new owner now, but luckily the trem was in good shape.

Interesting. I always thought the Knight Warrior came stock with a Kahler Flyer 🤔 That said, the Knight Warrior was and is the better of the two guitars.

I have a 85 Night Warrior, same color, white. Mine has the Kayler trem system. I don't think mine is plywood. Very heavy guitar. I also have a 83 zz Deluxe, the Explorer shaped guitar, also have the bass same year. I have a lot of Japanese made instruments. My best Japanese guitar is my 1980 Westbury Standard, Les Paul like. Came stock with DiMarzio super distortion pups and a 1979 Westbury Track I bass also, killer instruments. Cool video.

I had an Aria pro SG many years ago. It was a decent guitar.

My high school guitar was an Aria Pro II XL, and it was great aside from a cheap FR tremolo knock-off. This Cat would be much nicer if the body wasn’t plywood.

Hello, was the guitar made in Japan? Because it was from the year 86? Greetings and congratulations for the channel.

Hello. I'm no expert but I think the Matsumoku factory where japanese Aria Pro II's were made closed in 85 or 86. I have a 1984 RS Standard that says "made in Japan" on the neck plate, and the body is not plywood. I believe the "the Cat" series were some of the first Aria Pro's that were made in Korea. Cheers,

@@legeneralalexander6618according to the wikipedia entry on Aria guitars, all production was in Japan until 1987.
