Never bought one of these before, rarely ever saw any unless it was a huge band.
You can see I've found many at concerts I've attended... but alas, I have stopped at least a good 10 years ago...

I think the " Rolling Stones " tour you saw was for the album " A Bigger Bang".
I just recently got the Judas Priest album " Angel Of Retribution ", did they play " Loch Ness " live😆on their
2005 tour?.

Yes, "A Bigger Bang" was the album... fun fact: the video for "Streets of Love" was filmed here in Ottawa in a small bar called Zaphods (which I can proudly say I played on the same stage as the Rolling Stones once) :)
I think I am the ONLY person on the planet who likes the song 'Loch Ness"... sure it's silly, but the music is great (I think anyway) :)

@@AttackFromDownunda If you're talking about "Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy" then YES!... the bar's full name is called "Zaphod's Beeblebrox" no longer exists unfortunately... (closed maybe 5 years ago?)
Hey Dan, good show, bad memory lol. The first tour book you showed was for the show with Hinder and Theory of a Deadman, 2009. The second one, Red White and Crue is the Carnival of Sin tour, 2005. No opening act, evening with.
Hmmmm... so was that the show we saw in TO with Sum 41?? I honestly do not remember ever seeing Hinder and ToaD...
@@offthecharts2272 No, it was at the Corel Center. We did not go together but saw each other at the entrance. You were with your sister and JF.
@@roachman627 Geez! And you say YOUR memory is bad! LOL I know I saw the Crue with JF and Nath, but thought it was the SOLA tour... I remember it saying Los Angeles in the background? (like the Hollywood sign?)

To answer your questions:
1. A mini disk is a tape (where I did many interviews with a mini-disk player) and could cut and produce later into a radio show for later broadcast.
2. "Funeral for a friend" was a terrible (as you would call them:) "piece of sh*t" band we had the displeasure to be tortured with during the (German) "Dance of Death" tour by Iron Maiden. Its probably the band whose record company paid the most as to be on a buy-on for that tour. Same with another "piece of sh*t" band called "From first to last" (which NOBODY would remember today) we had the displeasure to be tortured with during the (German) KISS Alive 35 tour in 2008...
I have a ton of those programms somewhere in a closet and thanks for giving me the inspiration to look at them again, especially the STATUS QUO ones. I do own a *STATUS QUO Australian Tour 1977 tour book* but can't remember where or how on earth I got that as I have never been there.
It's a tape??? When i googled it afterwards, it showed it's a mini CD... but the rest of the description is spot on to what you said!
LOL... i did laugh at the comparison for the "piece of sh*t" bands... i heard the name Funeral for a Friend, but were not on that tour??? But tour books are made from PAST photos and some current tour shows, but definitely you're not seeing in the tour book what you are seeing that night! LOL As I have never seen those two bands you mentioned (but did see the Canadian tour of those two exact bands)

Cobo hall was expanded. Joe Lewis Arena next door was demolished.
Should have messaged me. We could have had dinner in Greek town.
So, we went there from Ottawa (Ontario) under the impression that Cobo Hall was being demolished and that KISS would be the last band to play there... this was before the auto industry went bankrupt (i think?) I remember someone in Detroit at that concert saying the auto industry was going bad... But the ONLY reason i remember doing the trek was because it was told that KISS was playing there before it got demolished...(that's what we heard and remember anyway)
LOL this was back in 2009... did not have this YT channel! Tell you what, if and when i ever go back, it's a date! :)
@@offthecharts2272 2008 was a bad year for auto makers. Supposedly, Kiss Alive was recorded at Cobo, but we know there was many studio touch ups. Detroit has gotten a little better, just stay in the downtown area or go to some suburbs like Dearborn or Royal Oak

Yes it was! I thought of it after... was gonna write it as a pinned comment but forgot... I remember there being a drum duel with Lars and the Godsmack singer...
