Sorry, I love this album. I listened to it while I was in the USAF & loved every track. ( It was, admittedly, the 1st time I'd ever bought a ratt album, ( cassette actually, lol ). Fantastic album!

This restored my hope for Ratt. No bad songs on this one. It’s more consistent than invasion, but of course lacking the two classics. Better than dancing. Way cool junior and no surprise are awesome. Love this slbum
I'll probably get some sh*t for this but Reach is my favourite Ratt record, followed by Out Of The Cellar, I bought the album when it came out & it was an instant hit with me, love every song, I bought the remastered version a few years back so it sounds even better now, I still play this album in the car. I agree it is the overlooked record but it reminds me of my youth I'm now 54 & it's the Ratt album I go for when I'm in the mood for some Ratt n Roll. Great video brother. RIP "King" Crosby...

I remember thinking "I Want a Woman" and "Way Cool Jr." were the only decent tracks on this album at the time, and that album cover is embarrassingly nonsensical. Cocaine is a helluva drug.

I think Bobby said in his book that this should have been RATT's "NEW JERSEY" (a la Bon Jovi) I loved this album...City to City is as RATT as it gets and "Top Secret" is a badass song...wish it coulda been on this album instead of Detonator.

@@offthecharts2272 Blotz is actually my personal favorite drummer. Anytime I play drums I ask myself "How would Blotz play this?" He seems to be the one everybody else in the band has a beef with. I sure wish they could all put aside the issues and do it one last time "for the fans." However, there's no replacing Crosby's writing and chemistry with Stephen although Carlos did a DAMN good job writing things like "Eat Me Up Alive" If only...if only. RATT is a very important band for me. I saw BON JOVI open for them...changed my life. All I've ever done for a living is music.
@@Pianodean oh i LOVE Blotz’ drumming style!!! Very swing-ish style! He plays the high-hat when everyone does the ride, and does the ride when everyone does the high-hat! I have a journalist friend who knows Blotz personally and gave me an example of how diva he was! So i love his playing but himself personally, meh…. But I am with you and love Ratt and would love to have all these differences put aside…. They are too talented to make Infestation their last album…. Like you said, one more for the fans!!! Ps: I only saw Ratt live once and it was with Jizzy Pearl (and it was excellent!!!)

This was the only Ratt album I had for years (on vinyl), and I never listened to it because I just didn't really like it. Then I got Detonator on CD and I REALLY liked that one. But I haven't really jumped on the Ratt ship (pun intended) at all. They're ok, but I'm not a huge fan. Arcade though, with (not Robbin) Stephen on vox, they're brilliant! Worth checking out both of their albums. Great vid, tnx Dan.

@@offthecharts2272 yes, his album after “Maverick a strike“ is titled “Vanguard“, the album after that which is a bit of a change of style and yet still a great album in my taste is titled “much more than much love”, I feel Finley Quay is certainly a hidden gem. Maverick A Strike is one of those albums that has four songs you absolutely love and the rest of it is kind of filler, but those four songs are pure magic. But his voice, it’s like “I don’t care what he’s saying, I just wanna listen“
Review Judas Priests Record (Ram It Down) very underrated Priest record and Tour , caught them in Houston for that Tour my second or third Time by then !!!!

One of my least favorite from Ratt but not bad. Half of this album is straight up bangers. I Want A Woman, Way Cool Jr, What's It Gonna Be, and What I'm After are all among my favorites from Ratt. City To City is an awesome opener too. The rest of this album to me is forgettable. Not bad, just not memorable.

Brilliant album. Big fan since first release in 1984. Have all their albums. A much under-appreciated band in my opinion.

I listened to that RATT and ROLL record the other day. I forgot how god damn good that music was.

Way Cool Jr. had a video on MTV and it was on the radio a little bit.
The only time I saw it was on the Ratt Videoaction VHS tape (now released on Dvd a few years back)…. I never saw it on Muchmusic (Power Hour). 🤷🏻♂️
