I just finished Boy Meets Boy, it was absolutly amazing, the story was beatiful, the writing was perfect, the chatacters interesting and this song is great, so 10/10 experience
Puggle64 Well I agree the song is supposed to be shocking, bluntly put as it represents his own inner thoughts and self hatred plus the hate the local "rag" some locals, a stark difference to the tune which is an upbeat track... I think that's what makes it so powerfull. Tastes differ though.

It's the difference between accurate perception and distorted perception. Of course, it's obvious that her use of the word 'faggot' is meant to show Tony's self-hatred. It is not Patty making an anti gay slur. How can anyone not understand that?
