I also bought the x3 traptrix structure deck for the reprints and staples but man is the deck fun to play! It also has a lot of variation over how do you wanna set boards and you can splash engines like the therion one to spice things up. Talking about decks my favourite one gotta be branded, dogmatika ritual or swordsoul, I just love the albaz lore in general
Same man I have branded but am working on swordsoul. Branded has become one of my fav decks of all time as a player that’s played since 2005.
As a traptrix main since the beginning I am so glad that konami bring us so much support for them. I can finally play them competitively.

I gotta say right now Traptrix is my favourite deck to play. I love that they put such a cohesive and consistent engine in a Structure deck.
I've always liked the blackwing archetype. However, I recently found Fur Hire in Master Duel and have been enjoying it. It's not strong, but the playstyle is refreshing and makes me want to look for other decks that have similar playstyle.

The game has become more diverse now than ever before and its really exciting seeing all the old archetypes getting good supports
Congrats on the win Sam! (Totally unexpected cause of how cheap the deck is and being able to win against Katshira is so impressive) And my favorite deck is D/D/D. The reason why I like D/D/D so much mainly because of how much "thinking" it requires, like how you need to play around handtraps and floodgate while the amount of combos are limited, one move wrong and you threw the game etc...

If you like thinking because how you have to play around stuff you should try playing only 1 copy of every card in your deck. Its literally the only way Ive ever played yugioh. Its way more interesting because everygame is different and you arent just doing the same thing all the time and its more randomized. The only true way to play. Just like the Anime except Kaiba that needed 3 blue eyes for ultimate.
@@mikephillips1043 there arent really archtypes which work with playing only 1 copy of each card except you really want to loose many duels or play against very weak decks
@@gfhd5333 just makes you actually have to theory craft and come up with more creative ways to play which this guy said he likes doing. Said he likes to play a lesser deck because the skill needed to play it.
@@mikephillips1043 thats actually the same reason why i like trap decks, where you search the traps of the deck fitting more to counter the opponents deck
I'm starting to really enjoy Traptrix myself, it gives me a bit of nostaliga for the good ol' days when you would actually set traps for your opponents instead of making a board of negates. Even better, you can make a pretty good budget deck, which works perfectly for me. Love this!

Traptrix is definitly my favorite deck this format. As a combo control hybrid it is so much fun to play plus it feels like it has good matchups against the current top decks.
Amazing results! Really speaks to the power this structure has and more so with upgrades. Utopia is still one of my favorites because Zexal was very enjoyable to me and Utopia itself is a cool monster.

I started playing yugioh 5 years ago, took a break for 4 years and now I got back in with this deck!
Your content has been helping me get back into Yugioh, waiting for my traptrix structure decks (and foils I ordered) to arrive. Love them on Master Duel and excited to get learning even more in person games
Honestly Heroes are my favorite yugioh deck of all time. Used by my favorite protagonist Jaden and has some of the coolest boss monsters in the game like Dark Law. The fact that they can beat crazy meta like tear and Kashtira is crazy.
They are not so off from being meta either, they just need a couple of main deck masked hero monsters and a skyscraper 3 that protects them from destruction.
Congrants on going undefeated, Traptrix are becoming very versatile after the structure release. Icejade has had my heart for a while, it brought me back after they released manifestation and the synchro in the new set. Keep up the amazing videos Sam.

Favorite deck: Chaos/Lightsworn Deck
Love working the field, graveyard, and banished zone. Feel like a Chaos Chief.
I'm working on one to try overcoming the big bricking problem with some of the Chaos monsters. Hypernova has some new Chaos cards I'm looking to include in.
Once I can afford it, I look forward to incorporating Thunder Dragons, dragon link, Branded Despia, Venom, etc for alternative versions.
Plus, finding decent extra deck monsters that work well with the cards.

I want more madolche support. Seeing a lot of older decks get this kind of support is great. Maybe a madolche structure deck would be cool.

petingcessoeur was a godsend, but yeah we need more lol.
maybe an XYZ monster that can disrupt if you are going first. going first madolche board isnt as impressive (1 negate from promenade and 1 monster immunity from glassouffle)
@@Maruhodo also grave interruotion from glass, but yea not too imperesive nowdays. Going 2nd they can otk easily with 1-2 cards but speasily stopped with 1-2 good interruption.
But yea madolche is fan fave deck, they will get more support every few years for sure.
Honestly a Madolche deck with updated support would be pretty competitive. Maybe not tier 1 depending on how crazy they want to go, but fully competent to steal some regional wins and YCS tops unexpectedly.
@@EggoEspadaell even without updates they recently topping during prime tear ishizu formats xD. Also madolche is kind of deck which keep popping out now and then in competitive formats, ever since their first release.
The deck kinda ahead of its time indeed. Pretty long lasting even tho never been tier 0 lvl, just barely tier 1 few times.

I really like zombie horde. It was the structure deck that I got as a gift when I returned to yugioh after 10 years. It's a really cool deck because you can put almost every zombie in it. It's really what the name promises. You have also an interest stamina on the field because so many effects let your monster come back and also the one of your enemies. And if you have your board on the field you can give your opponent a really hard time
I really like the labrynth archetype myself. Its like Eldich 2.0 but with a story theme to it. Makes you wonder if they have a lore.
It does have, and the last character that hasn't have his own card is the Knight, who at last win Labrynth heart (well I just know this through some players)
Labrynth sure will have more support cards, one of them def the Knight
I generally always was interested in playing Traptrix and this structure deck and everything that has been going on with it has definitely made up my mind to play it. Now if only the Chronomaly support was this good then I could play my favorite deck...but I digress. Btw congrats on the W Sam

Yeah, I’m the same, I’ve been trying to learn everything I can from this deck before an upcoming tournament that I have this week
My favourite deck is Drytrons, Drytrons all the way. Not only the broken herald version, but all fun versions as well. In Master duel i made xyz, synchro and link variant for the events and had a blast.
Six samurai have been my favourite deck since I first played and I recently updated it to be better and I’m loving the infinite special summons. Love the vid as well I went to a starter deck tournament and really enjoyed traptrix so it’s nice seeing a deck list

Traptrix were kind of scary when they came out, but quickly got overwhelmed as the meta shifted, seeing them come back is amazing with new support. I like them even if I don't like playing them, or playing against them, heh.

So as someone who is JUST coming back to yugioh from the OG main (i gave away all my cards when i left for college back in 04 - yeah I’m old lol) I just picked up three structure decks to put together and try!
Blackwings will always be my favorite deck. Never stopped loving them since crossroads of chaos
My favourite deck this format is 110% Branded Despia bc the amount of options the deck has. There’s also bare variations and techs that I play around with and the option of DRAGOON?? Mod. but this structure deck made traptrix a close second ngl
$30 Branded and Traptrix are easily my favorite for the current format, affordable decks for competitive and casual players alike.

Well getting into the game with SD I love each one of them since Cyber Strike... But seeing the new Branded Despia Support is just the cherry on top... Branded is just nuts.

Just bought the 3 structure decks because my friend always plays darkworld and this seems to be a great counter against him considering that we keep things super casual. My main deck that I love playing is a skull servant deck designed purely to mill the whole deck asap and hit with atk higher than anything he can defend against. Is it comp worthy? absolutely not, but for duels between friends its more than I can ever ask for!
My favorite deck is Malefic. It isn't a very good deck, but something I definitely have fun with and have gotten some easy wins with when I run into someone that has no idea what they are
Traptrix looks so fun! My favourite deck for now is PUNK in masterduel :)
My favorite deck is still tear, after it got bad I started liking it. I am playing it and trying to get more tops with tear and after this video with trap trix as well.
My favorite is HERO personally. I really love the variety of each HERO in the archetype and how there's several kinds of HERO cards like Vision, Destiny and Evil outside of Elemental and each and every one look really good. GX is definitely on my top 3 series.
All time is Lightsworn but in this format. I love Branded Despia. Me being born a Fusion Player, fusion summoning with this deck is so fast that I continue to love building this every banlist that pops up. So yeah Branded Despia, currently my favorite deck

My favorite is Dino’s for sure!!! I can’t decide between go 2nd or combo. They both too fun

Been trying to learn and get back into yugioh was torn between getting the traptrix or Cyber strike but this deck has had a fun learning curve for me and the combos are so great. Excited to build it and try it out in my locals!
