Donald to the rescue again! What a guy! His really is lovely, sweet and warm like hot chocolate.
I love that tag! It shows not only their great chemistry together but also the obvious affection Marlo has for Ted.
The role of Phil Harvey in this episode is played by John Aniston who happens to be the father of actress Jennifer Aniston and in a strange twist Marlo Thomas played the mother of Jennifer Aniston on the TV show Friends some 25-30 years later.
I love these kinds of coincidences, connections, and plot twists. Lots of fun!!
Great friends john Aniston and Marlo thomas good to see how long their friendship has been
Love these videos ty for sharing
Don is really great this episode. Ann, on the other hand, not so much. She really talked herself into a job she had no qualifications for by dropping Don's name, and they rightly assumed she'd pawn all of her work off on Don (the fact that they knew it was a sure thing is really bad news for her character). Meaning he had to work tirelessly after hours, not getting paid, for articles that she got to put her name on. Then, she really had the audacity to get mad at him for pointing out that her "writing" and his "helping" really was all his doing. She foolishly spent $500 she didn't really have because she was deluded by her "talents" which again was all her fiancé's work. And at the very end it all ends up working out how? Don visits them and essentially has to threaten them. Not a finger lifted on Ann's part. If this wasn't a cute sitcom, this'd be the kind of thing that would break a couple up!
This has the 'spins a lot of dreams' theme song.
Thats when T shirts with statement images were the thing
RIP Dabney Coleman!!!…Karlido
They already went to Hollywood.
I don't understand how Ann talked herself into that writing job. She had no qualifications, no experience, and no perceptible talent. The "Girl Friday" fashion magazine guys were just using Ann to get Donald to write for them, and pay next-to-nothing for his professional work. They knew she would get help from Donald.
18:39, Don's hat switches sides of his head.
Love how her character just "assumed" Don didn't like her writing because she is a "GIRL" ....without accepting the real facts. We're all good in different things, can't be good at everything. How far television has come only now everyone sues everyone for anything 🤨
Margo "hippies" look choosed to be very modern , made "THAT GIRL" to lose all her class
and humor!
I agree, so many ethnic prints that didnt look good on her
James Gregory before Barney Miller. She's wearing a slip cover?
And saying Agoness. Not Agnes. Drives me nuts.
James Gregory calls Don, "Holly". Kind if creepy. The seeds of Barney Miller's weird Inspector Luger character were being planted. So sad that John Aniston has recently passed away.
I KNOW IT WAS THIS YEAR IT IS VERY SAD HE WAS GREAT
Funny that they let her wear that Porky Pig t -shirt .
THIS IS FUNNY HOW SHE USED TO WEAR KIDS T SHIRTS LIKE PORKY PIG
Back in the day, we, the audience, began watching . As we grew into mature adults, married, with children, and even promising careers (not just a Job). , they kept Ann as a a rambling talking immature 21 year old. It became increasingly annoying, and I , personally, couldn’t continue watching. Now, as I watch this in my senior days, I remember why I stopped watching, and I still find her annoying. Even more so.😊
Wow. What a heavy load of criticism for what is meant to be light entertainment. Messages can be woven in there, too.
I see your point. She does get nerve racking at times, but she is a good person. That helps
I didnt find her annoying but now I see how she fidnt mature and used the little girl pout alot. Maybe I just dont remember how annoying she was
Gosh her clothing got worse as the season progressed. She used to be so well dressed
My lord, "That Girl" talks too much! Sorry Marlo. 🤐
Word salad. Lol
That headband ain't woke!
