    The whole concept of Ratio building while seemingly obvious is something my brain threw out the window when playing this game

    • @cthulhu8977
      @cthulhu8977 4 года назад +6

      Same, I sorta have a rough idea of the ratios for some things; however usually I just make a row of w/e and if it's not enough add more to the end until demand is met.
      Downside of this non-plan is after adding more say assemblers... now copper is lacking... add some more to that... now ore is lacking.... now the belt is too slow....

    Well done. Really well done! I personally find it more satisfying working with full belts and figure the ratios from there (one saves a lot of place and later hassle this way), but to each his own, and your explanation was really good!

    Seeing all of this in one place like that really drives home how fast this game scales up. Mine is scattered around my planet, connected by drone stations, and not really built to ratio as a result. Like, I have an entire mk2 belt of oil being broken down for refined oil, with its entire hydrogen output being burned for power. An entire mk1 belt of coal being smelted directly into diamonds. That kind of thing. xD

    In case you didn't Know, Hydrogen is considered a Liquid in Dyson Sphere program. Tanks handle it FAR better than boxes.

    • @JDPlays
      @JDPlays  3 года назад +1

      Yes it converts into Liquid and its kept inside unpressurised jello packets that move on belts. In line storage can be added to this build but it was to demonstrate how to make yellow science not the 'best way' to make yellow science

    • @JDPlays

    So your guide to making yellow science... is to start with already having buildings (interplanetary vessel) that require yellow science... greaaaaat guide!

    • @JDPlays
      @JDPlays  3 года назад +2

      Yes, the game forces you to fly across and gather the titanium and fly it back in your inventory

    • @andybrown4284
      @andybrown4284 3 года назад +1

      There's enough rocks with titanium in to do the yellow research. If you go crazy popping the titanium rocks there's actually enough to get at least one ship and two interplanetary stations before you head to the other planet. Just have to be very frugal with what you have.

    • @ZakisHereNow
      @ZakisHereNow 3 года назад

      @@JDPlays Guess I was looking for more of a starter guide as opposed to an advanced setup. I JUST unlocked interplanetary vessels and it takes a very long time to put together the Interplanetary Towers. I have two now, and about 4 vessels. Again, just suppose I expected a guide to getting yellow science, to start where the yellow science starts. Will use this setup once i have the steady interplanetary stream though!

    • @Cennyan
      @Cennyan 3 года назад

      @@ZakisHereNow This is the starter guide. His point is completely valid, you have to import Titanium, so instead of using the Planetary Logistics System, you have to sail to another planet, build a titanium mining operation, fill up your inventory with Titanium, fly back to your main planet, and then put it in a storage container. Make sure the container is connected to your yellow science feed and you're good.

    • @ZakisHereNow
      @ZakisHereNow 3 года назад

      @@Cennyan But that’s not what happened. He is already wayyyyyyy past that point. To the point of having already built interplanetary logistics stations and vessels in mass. Which is hours past first getting titanium for yellow science.

    • @blvckcvrd
      @blvckcvrd 4 года назад +3

      Have you gotten to Interstellar Logistics yet? It is a literal game changer. Aside from that, you just have to make time for titanium and silicon Runs from one of the local planets. I will also suggest allotting some of the titanium, along with some of that excess hydrogen, for a dedicated hydrogen cell battery build for Icarus. It helps knowing you have a stock pile of 200% regen energy deposits when making multiple trips off-world!
