  • We have been asked what we do for maintenance before travel after sitting a bit and here is the answer to that question.

    If you play Pickleball and are looking for a paddle check out the NEW KoBo paddles by clicking on this link davek.kobopickleball.com/ which will take you to their website.
    I have had the opportunity to try these paddles and have had the privilege of meeting and playing with the owner of KOBO and his wife who actually designed these paddles from the ground up and worked with a manufacturing plant to produce them. They are all in and committed to hitting the ground running and I am pretty darn certain you will be seeing these paddles across the country very very soon.
    Full disclosure in return if you click on the link above and happen to make a purchase we will get a small reward which in turn will help our channel. Feel free to share that link with others.
    At this point I will also be doing demo days at Pickleball courts as we travel. Hey we like the product and love the story of a small family owned company starting a new journey and we hope you do to.

    I like the maintenance and camp set up/breakdown videos. Thank you sir. Have you considered doing an updated coach walkthrough and maybe a review the New Horizons after living in it for awhile?

      I'm glad you enjoy them, thanks. I HAVE thought about doing another walk through video on the New Horizons. The only reason I have not is because I have done a couple on this one and I didn't want to seem repetitive BUT I will consider it again. Thanks for putting the bug in my ear,

    We have never heard of the t 9. Is it better than other greaser? Lynn and Danny

      Boeing was in need of a better corrosion protectant and lube at one point and developed T-9. I figure if it's good enough for Boeing it should be good for me. Heck just look at how easy the nuts came off those doors on the planes!!!

      How often do you wax your coach Dave? Is PCreek a good spot to get a mobile detailer to give it a full wax? Or do you just use AeroCosmetics and do it yourself?

    • @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707
      @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707  25 дней назад +1

      When I clean the coach with Aero Cosmetics it's a wash wax product. But along with that I use a wipe on wipe of ceramic coating product I would like to say once a year but it probably averages out to every 18 months in reality. And yes, PCreek has a couple RV wash companies that comes in and does wash and wax service. Thats the one time per year we usually let someone else clean our rig for us.

    Dave, what kind of batteries do you have?

    • @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707
      @daveanddianethrowingcautio5707  25 дней назад +1

      Oh I hate to even answer. First off we have AGM batteries which is the good part BUT we have a couple from our last rig that was only 2 years old when we built this one and then we have some we put in when we built this so we have different brands and different age batteries. Far from what anyone would say to do and we don't recommend it BUT it's what we did LOL!!! These are certainly reaching the end of their lives and we will most likely switch to lithium, but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

      I love that battery storage area but I don't think it would work for lithium because of what would be exposure to ambient temps. Of course, if you're always in warm environs, who cares, lol.

      I have seen that battery storage lined with insulation board and be used for Lithium and work fine. Plus some Lithium batteries have built in heaters which if a person really planned to camp in cold weather would be the way to go.
