How do I save money on fuel

- As fulltime RVers that travel all around the USA we go through a lot of fuel so we save any way we can and I thought I would give you a good example of how what we do works.
Side note, since shooting this we went to Sizzler for a meal and got %20 back with UpSide which was $5.51, how can you complain about that!!

I used upside for the first time last week. I can’t believe I’ve been fueling without this app. I got $10 back that first use. We doing a 1700 mile round trip can’t wait to see that cash back.
I know!!! I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to at least try the UPside app.
I had upside years ago, didn't work out for me then, might look at it again. I do not put on the miles you do so I use Amoco, I get 10 cents a galloon always, and the Kwik Trip card I get 3 cents always but often can get 25-50 cents off for a 30 galloon purchase. It is always more fun to fuel up without the trailer behind you so I completely understand you filling up a day ahead with just the truck. If I was still towing or had a diesel super C I would look at the TSD it would make sense then. I can have a vehicle sit for a month because I have more than one and trying to get down to just 1 or 2, kids drove my vehicles but they have their own now.
It sounds like you have something that works for you and thats what counts. And you are right, It's much nicer to roll into a small station and fill the truck up without the 5th wheel. And with 140 gallons on board when full we can cover some miles between fuel stops. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Great app Dave! We've been using it a bunch recently. We also have a costco membership which saves us money on our gasoline.
We have a Costco membership also but don't seem to get gas there very often for some reason. Upside gets used a lot though. In fact right now again I can get 30 cents off a gallon, I may need to go get 50 gallons just to take advantage.

Upside isn't always the best choice in all areas. Where we are at right now I can buy diesel cheaper without the app but 30 miles away we can save but driving 30 miles to get fuel makes no sense unless going there anyway.
