Hey! Glad you tried those ya ol hillbilly! I've had a ton of success on those! Like a finesse spinnerbait that's awesome from the bank because stuff doesn't get gunked up in the blade like an underspin. Both still have a place in the arsenal, though.
#100percentwatchsquad baby!!! On my knot, I like to double the line back through like for a Palomar and you have a double pitzen knot. It's my go to knot to my double and triple treble baits. Never broke on me yet.
Gypsy rig.... I've been using this for over 40 yrs. We just made it taking the Lil round blade off of a beetle spin and adding a small wlllow and adding it to favorite size ball jig. I've mentioned this to you before
Thanks for sharing. Also, the pitzen knot (and especially the double pitzen) are incredible knots w/ fluoro. There are other great knots. But, many times fluoro will cut itself using those knots (something we've all probably experienced).🤨
That is a great looking bait! I fish a lot of underspins around laydowns. I get hung up quite a bit if I'm not paying attention to the depth I'm running. This looks like it might come through those limbs a little better. I will have to try these out for sure.
Hey Hank, those are pretty sweet. I’ve been modifying the old Johnson beetle spinners forever with a small willow blade & some sort of small swim bait or grub. It works man! #100percentwatchsquad👊
Thanks for the info Hank. I will have to get some and try them. So do they hit it soft like an underspin? Half the time i get one on a underspin it feels like your reeling and it snags on a stick or something bro 🎣🔥 #100percentwatchsquad
Hank, I couldn’t see the first part of the knot, it wasn’t in the picture frame. How a knot tying video of you favorite knots for different baits. #100PWS
No, I don’t have a tough weed god like the way that set up like a jig but I drilled out two years ago the buckeye brand and I took the underbelly spinning, cut it underneath and drilled into the top of it put glue and bent my own arm and made a blade just like that three years ago. I’m gonna send it to you on my Instagram because I caught a lot of fish on it.😮 that is a very good idea. Sometimes I guess he got a let someone know but who the hell would you let me know when you got a great idea like that way to session as you would think someone would already tried it like I did.😮 but my wires know where a strong is that like a protector and a spinner at the same time great work
It's a spinnerbait with a small blade ? Titanium's been used as a top wire in one popular spinnerbait 25 years ago, right ? This is tiny blade plastic ...no skirt. Call it a high dollar" Buba Beatle- spin" Plastic bait/titanium wire. Catching um brother ! Finally can breathe in the morning.
Sorry, but this time I disagreed all that is is a little spinner baits. If a spinner bait and an underspin had a baby, that would be a second blade on the belly.
thats literally a beatle spinner LOL .... i don't get the underspin or top spin lingo but its literally just flippin stuff around :D ...... change up the blade and its got a new name i guess lol

Yeah man I love it. Great in the open water.
You know Debo got the tricks, both of you sold me on the top spin.
Hahaha

Nice!
I've been an under spin fan ever since Jordan Lee rocked on lake Hartwell. Love it. I'll have to examine the top spin.
Man I been tossing those things way before that. lol I'm old.
Have to check those top spins out thanks for sharing Hank
It's great man.
Nice bait! Thanks again for sharing and helping us all! Keep doing your thing Hank! Appreciate you!
I appreciate you!
Pitzen knot
That 1st Gen bladed jig is a must as well
Hammering out some great vids
Thanks I will

You have and I like it. hahahaha
I just started using an underspin. I guess I'll have to try the overspin now.
Hahahaha yup
Good stuff Hank!! Like that Topspin look brother. Hope ur well bud!
Doing good
I’m looking to deck out a John boat what upgrades do you think I should put on it about a 3k budget
That depends on how you fish.
@@BassGeek I like fishing offshore structure and docks

Yes sir. I love it. Easy and fast.

Yes it does It comes through very nicely.
Belly weighted underspins are weedless
I use a jig spinner for this same purpose. Blade over and under. Any brand and color becomes a compact spinner bait or dual bladed jig
Nice I like it.
Have some of these and haven’t used them yet
What would be your set up on a bait caster ?
Depends on Size but I like a MedHvy Fst on a casting setup.
Looks like a good bait great channel
Thank you and it’s a good bait for sure
Hey Hank, those are pretty sweet. I’ve been modifying the old Johnson beetle spinners forever with a small willow blade & some sort of small swim bait or grub. It works man! #100percentwatchsquad👊
I would say it kills.
Absolutely man👊
Also that Armour shad is killer fished as a fluke for smallies!
Yeah the largmouth like it too.
Great info, thanks
Thank you
Thanks for sharing! I fish a lot of underpins on Lake Lanier and this will be another option. How is the hookup ratio with the wire on the top?
It’s great the wire is supper flexible
Hey bro, I thought the willow video alot with a Armour shad on spinning gear my line twists, any ideas?
Sorry what bait was it again?
Do you like the 1/4 oz in a size 3 or 5 hook?
Depends on what bait I’m throwing on it. I’m a 3/0 fan this time of year in open water and 5/0 over cover.
Nice, great option.
Just add it to the list of good options. hahahaha
Thanks for the info Hank. I will have to get some and try them. So do they hit it soft like an underspin? Half the time i get one on a underspin it feels like your reeling and it snags on a stick or something bro 🎣🔥
#100percentwatchsquad
Yup about the same. Just gets heavy

Sorry about that. I do have a video of me tying that knot it's old but out there.
Cool little bait. Great info, thanks Hank. #100%watchsquad
Fun to fish for sure.
1st Gen is a great company!! Should try their Jaw Dropper swim head too, its produced quite a few bass for me this year.
#100percentwatchsquad
Oh it’s on the rod as we speak 😂

That’s pretty cool
Top spin, I have seen Debo fishing it and it looks a lot like a finesse spinner. #100percentwatchsquad
It’s killer that arm is a big deal
#100percentwatchsquad.
Heck yeah #100
#100watchsquad great bate got to get some of them thanks Hank
What's up Gary! Thank you
Dude says the word want like wuunnnt
So.
Looks like a finesse spinner bait to me
There’s some big differences
#100percentwatchsquad 🎣👍
Noice.

True to an extent. This has a great hunting action.
Its basically a big beetle spin
This one will hunt a little side to side.
Its basically a oversized road runner.
Ehhh not really.
Sorry, but this time I disagreed all that is is a little spinner baits. If a spinner bait and an underspin had a baby, that would be a second blade on the belly.
Hahahaha maybe. But it’s still killer

Well not really
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥@1stGen @thebasshookup
