New Gamebook - "The Seeker Of Valenreath " By M D Makin | One Roll Gamebooks

After fantastic reviews on Amazon I decided to purchase this Gamebook. The Seeker Of Valenreath by Michael D Makin. Released 2022. Here's my quick flick through!

Kudos to the creator. The artwork looks great - if I was going to nitpick slightly, I'd say go a bit darker and have panel breaks on the art. 1000 paragraphs seems a bit extensive. I will presume there is a 'save point' at some juncture, otherwise that might take a while to playthrough - I always thought 400 paragraphs was the perfect number, not too brief or too long.

Just happened upon yoiur channel and want to cheer you on! I'm just getting back into gamebooks as an adult after a childhood in the 80s literally consumed by them! I've picked up the first Lone Wolf as well as Rider of the Black Sun. Delighted to find a channel dedicated to gamebooks - keep up the great work :)

Recent subscriber and enjoying your channel a lot. A lot of the books with waxy covers are Amazon self published, print on demand books (as the edition notice page seems to imply this one is).

It's a lot of paragraphs indeed. The combat system looks a little more advanced. Haven't played it yet. But will review it when I do. Thanks for commenting. 👍
