You know the "the religious hypocrites" will probably jump all over me for saying this but Prince, in a way, did what God commanded. He "spread the word of God". He wrote + performed many religious songs that encouraged people to "not die without knowing the cross". One of his friends visited him one time and, bottom line, he said healed to God about his earlier life- using slang explicit words in his music. He said that he and God have an understanding. But he never again performed certain songs that, in his later years, he felt God would object to.
Im not much of a fan of this creative period by this genius, and i do not use that term lightly! But wow the spoken intro of this resonates soo strong with me, and this current period of insanity. I hope others find this, and take heed to his words, and apply them to whats going on at this point in time. I truly hope this will help initiate said masses to wake up, remember how to think critically. I heard this song 5 years ago, I love how he waking people up and this song needs to be played on every radio station in the world daily. When I first heard it I really didnt care for it. About 6 months ago this song just popped into my head, now I love this song and can not get enough but my friends are lol. Is this strange ? No happens a lot with me and some prince songs, like " she is always in my hair" for a year that was my song, now I hear my friends singing it randomly. I think Michael Jackson is singing back ground. I guess we will never know, unless they both faked their deaths to save thousands upon thousands of lives from drug overdose under your drs care or not. They gave both scenarios. Don't think this people are selfish MJ has said a thing or 2 about smallywood and look where that got him. I was there at love4oneanother when he had the party of 1999.
You know the "the religious hypocrites" will probably jump all over me for saying this but Prince, in a way, did what God commanded. He "spread the word of God".
He wrote + performed many religious songs that encouraged people to "not die without knowing the cross".
One of his friends visited him one time and, bottom line, he said healed to God about his earlier life- using slang explicit words in his music. He said that he and God have an understanding. But he never again performed certain songs that, in his later years, he felt God would object to.
Agreed Juliette ...He never waivered from that..but..One has to drop the Judgement to see Clearly who Prince is and what he is all about..

Im not much of a fan of this creative period by this genius, and i do not use that term lightly! But wow the spoken intro of this resonates soo strong with me, and this current period of insanity. I hope others find this, and take heed to his words, and apply them to whats going on at this point in time. I truly hope this will help initiate said masses to wake up, remember how to think critically. Then use that power to obliterate this negativity that enshrouds us all, and collectively rebuild, a new POSITIVE, LOVING REALITY!
