- On December 27, 1997, three loyalist gunmen unleashed a hail of bullets at the entrance of a packed out disco in Northern Ireland.
The ruthless attack at the Glengannon Hotel in Co Tyrone left one man dead and three others seriously injured.
The shooting was in revenge for the INLA prison murder of Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) leader Billy Wright just hours earlier.
Ruairi Cummings was just 17 when he witnessed the horrors of that night.
His father Christy was gunned down in front of his very eyes. His injuries left him paralyzed for life.
Almost 25 years later, the Cummings family are still fighting for justice, and the truth, over the night that changed their lives forever. Развлечения
Excellent interview. What a frightening experience, and for his life to be threatened again 25 years later.
Brilliant, truthful, in depth interview! Well done Patricia 👏
Thank you Ruairi for sharing your story. Such a good and brave man to continue pushing for the justice you all deserve.
Brilliant interview. Both so informed and spoke so well. Good luck on your campaign for justice.
Well done Trish again
As for Ruiri you my hero buddy
We have spent many a long days/nights talking on the phone but we at the Ballymurphy Massacre families always had many a people to turn to but to set out and do this alone is a testament to your commitment to your father/trust and justice mate.
WHAT A FIGHTER/LEGEND
These interviews are brilliant, well done ✅
Thank you for watching
Only just found your channel Trish, fantastic!
great interview, keep up the fight Ruairi to get the justice you and your family deserve
Ruairi would have been about year old when I left the North and moved to Cork, nobody cared what you were in the South...even ended up in a commune with a Norn Iron Prod and we just got on without a hint of animosity.
This is a uniquely Northern Ireland mindset.
The bouncers in Exit 15 were the best bunch of lads you could ever meet.
Great interview Patricia, that's a decent young man Ruari.
Ooohhhhh Patsy 🤗 I'm away to wee Shap to get my supplies and get comfy for another outstanding podcast highlighting what should be 👌✌ Cheers
If they where involved in the murder of Adrian Lamph then it's pretty obvious who two of those involved were, Fulton and Gibson.
One of them at least
U thinking the fulton lifted in england
@@acorndogs904 No Gary (the Barbie Typewriter) Fulton.
@@thegael1996 he was a coat carrier jim and Mark were different. Mark was in a league of his own
@@acorndogs904 Jim ended up pissing off to America and left Gary running the Portadown LVF which pretty much devolved into a paramafia. Same with Lurgan and North Belfast.
Excellent pod Trish yet again.
Ruairi is a lovely fella.
Keep up the good fight Ruairi.
Thanks Colin
I enjoy your podcasts , learning lots .
Thanks Geoff
Hard to believe this was 25 years ago.
These are great podcasts of victims of the troubles even the ones pulled into the violent side of it. They're all victims of a designed war preplanned many years before God Bless all who were lost.
Good listening Patricia
Just out of interest Patricia, did Ruairi show you his East Tyrone Brigade tattoo on his leg? Yes Ruiari likes to play the victim while running around glorifying victim makers on his body.
What's an East tyrone brigade tattoo 😅
The SAS wouldn't have came out in front of people or leave rubbish behind.
@@ciarancurry7635 I watch too many films 🤣🤣.Do you honestly think the SAS would have came out of a hide in front of everyone? Then leave all their rubbish behind? This is the most elite army unit in the world!Don't be silly
Exactly what I was thinking as if the sas would just come out of a hide in front of people or leave any evidence . That’s complete rubbish like 😂
Iam a republican myself & hate the SAS but I even can't see them doing this.from what I know of them they would have just disappeared into the background.but they're defo would have Been collusion involved but defo can't see the SAS doiñg the actions described, coming out Infront of witnesses,Leavin stuff in a hide ect..RIP SEAMUS DILLON & God Bless All The Other Victim's Of This Cowardly Attack.Keep Up The Fight For Justice Ruiriai.🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪✊✊
@@jpmc114 sas or not, soldiers were in the immediate area. That's now a documented fact. I'm saying no more
@@pfc4156 the sbs were more elite than the SAS for one....like the navy seals and JJ magee served in them and a Provo lol
Getting Justice from the British will not be given easily,it'll be a long hard road. Keep fighting Ruairi.
I think Ruairi saved many lives. Had he not alerted his dad. They would not have met the gunmen round back and they would have had the drop on them at the door and gone in and killed many people in the venue. He should be proud, not guilty.
Brilliant podcast on
Ruairl you are 💯 right
This will be interesting
🌹
Ruairi blocked me on Twitter, I just listened to the podcast and was interested in the case. Paranoid much?
He's an IRA sympathiser , however he doesn't like being questioned about it
Could you take part in the blanket protests if you weren’t a member of one of the organisations?
Many a man was sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit. Look at McCartney the former oc and there was another fella from stroke city he got a reprieve about 10 years ago he served 16 years and not guilty
@@acorndogs904 that’s for sure. Just wondering could you take part if you weren’t involved?
I’m not sure Carl
Yes you would cause have all it was the same people who but you in there
So you are saying the sas did not work with your people 😠
That hotel when it was a furniture store was a place where the hair stands on the back of ur neck. It was donnelys car place maybe still is but one of the salesmen said that place was haunted
Didn’t know that 😨
@@noeditpod were you never In that hotel when it changed to a furniture store ? As soon as u walked in the door u felt it.
No, never. I think I may have been in the nightclub at one stage but that was many many years ago.
It's totally demolished, has been for a long time now. Replaced by van showroom, donnellys as you say.
Impressive interview-the dead doorman was an ex IRA prisoner who was involved in an attack on police officers -coincidence imo that he was killed .
Sas involved......what a lot of bollox
Why
All power to ou Ruari, I like you but them shooters wernt sas, but...
Go raibh maith agat
Was the guy in the IRA ? Was he (on the blanket) ?
Maybe 🤔 previously.
Come on yous know SAS help with killing men women and children
Psni collusion
SAS coming out of the bushes and leaving rubbish behind 😂 Turn it in.
Republicans had a country conditions brutality true heroes for hundreds of years both religions have gave there lives for Irish freedom loyalists don’t considers themselves Irish so go join Adair and know your history
Well done Ruairi 👏🏼🫶🏻 can remember where I was that night when that news came in 🙏🏼
